Ironically, Renaissance means ‘rebirth’ and that is what seems to be happening in the gallery above. These photographs reveal poses and emotions that uncannily match the style of Renaissance artwork.
The title “Accidental Renaissance” comes from a picture taken in 2016 on New Year’s which saw civilians in Manchester lying around in poses that resemble Renaissance paintings.
