Sarah Ferguson launches new project for children amid coronavirus lockdown
Sarah Ferguson has launched a YouTube channel with a promise to keep children entertained amid the coronavirus lockdown.
On Wednesday, The Duchess of York opened Storytime With Fergie and Friends on her YouTube and Facebook pages, where she plans to host a daily story time session for “all of the children out there who just need a little bit of magic” during isolation at home.
In a Twitter post, Fergie said she will be reading from her books, including titles such as Tea for Ruby and Ballerina Rose.
“Don’t worry, they’re not very long books,” she said in the inaugural episode.
“It’s so exciting because I’m in my favorite place ever, ever, ever and that’s with children and thinking of children.”
According to PEOPLE, the 60-year-old royal also has two new children’s books coming out: Genie Gems, which was inspired by her daughter Princess Eugenie, and Trixi-Belle which was named after her oldest daughter Princess Beatrice.
