Surprise! Anna Kournikova & Enrique Iglesias welcome twins after secret pregnancy
Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias have welcomed twins after the notoriously private couple kept their pregnancy a secret.
The boy and girl, named Nicholas and Lucy, were born on the weekend at Miami, Florida, reported TMZ.
On Saturday, Anna posted three photos on Instagram of herself on a boat wearing Enrique’s jacket from his recent tour.
The new parents first met on the set of the singer’s Escape music video and have been dating since 2001.
The duo are not thought to be married but last year, Anna sparked speculation after she was seen wearing a large diamond ring and eternity band on her wedding finger.
However, in a recent interview Enrique revealed that despite the long length of their relationship, he and his Russian partner have no immediate plans to marry.
While talking to The Sun, he claimed that they already live the life of a married couple.
'We're just as happy. There comes a point when you've been with someone for a certain amount of time that I believe that you are like, married. I guess the only difference is that we haven't walked down the aisle."
The Spanish singer once introduced Anna as his wife at a concert in Russia but soon after claimed that he had simply got caught up in the moment.
Following the concert he said, "It was just meant to be sweet, in the moment. I honestly didn't mean to confuse people. I thought it'd be easier for the audience to understand than if I said, 'my girl'.
"I've never really thought marriage would make a difference."
"Maybe it's because I come from divorced parents, but I don't think you love someone more because of a piece of paper.
"And nowadays it's not taboo to have kids and not be married. What makes a difference is that you're a good parent."
