Dolly Parton reveals hopes for future: “I don’t plan to retire”
Dolly Parton has opened up about her plans for the future, and says she has no plans to slow down anytime soon.
"I don't plan to retire, I just turned 74!” She told reporter Tom Steinfort in a 60 Minutes interview.
The award-winning star also shared her plans for her 75th birthday, admitting she plans “to be on the cover of Playboy magazine again”.
Dolly first made her grand debut on the coveted magazine back in 1978.
"I thought it would be such a hoot. If they'll go for it. I don't know if they will."
With over 53 years of 160 million record sales and an undeniable charisma that has continued to draw in hoards of loving fans, Dolly Parton is the most successful country artist of all time.
The star also went on to admit she is no stranger to cosmetic surgery, and is happy to be the centre of attention rather than shy away from it.
"I always say good lighting, good makeup and good doctors - and a good attitude don't hurt either,” she said.
