Rock 'n' roll history: Michael Hutchence’s $2 million home is up for sale
The former 1980s Sydney, Australia, home of INXS frontman Michael Hutchence is up for sale again.
It’s only the second time the home has been listed after it was sold by Hutchence in 1995, just two years before his death.
The star paid $105,500 for the residence in the inner-city suburb of Sydney in 1985, which translates to roughly to $308,801 in today’s dollars.
However, the home is being sold at auction on the 2nd of March, after the current owners unsuccessfully tried to achieve a sale price of $2 million in 2018.
The two-bedroom home has undergone a stylish renovation, has a light-filled living room as well as a tranquil internal courtyard that you can relax in.
With original fireplaces available, one bathroom and marble bench tops, this home is a blend of vintage and modern charm.
