Rumour has it Adele may launch new album in late 2019
Adele and her husband, Simon Konecki, have announced their divorce. The pair had been together since 2011 and had welcomed a son, Angelo, in 2012.
The singer’s representatives told The Associated Press that the pair had separated.
They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always, they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment,” the statement read.
Adele has been private about her relationship, but confirmed they were married when she won Album of the Year at the 2017 Grammys.
In her acceptance speech, she said:
“Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, my husband and my son — you’re the only reason I do it.”
However, a new album, which has been penned before the divorce, is looking to be released in 2019.
A record company insider told The Daily Mail that Adele has booked a sought-after spot to have the album put onto vinyl at a West London factory.
“Adele has made sure that she has booked her work in early. It is a tell-tale sign this album is in the making and has been written over the past year or so,” the insider revealed.
