How to make the text on iPhone or iPad easier to read

There’s no need to struggle to read the text on your iPhone or iPad when there are four quick and easy ways to make your screen easier to see.

1. Increase your phone’s text size

Yes, you can change the text size on your phone or iPad!

Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Text Size > Slide the button to the text side of choice.

If that text size isn’t large enough, don’t worry you can still make it EVEN bigger.

Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Turn on Larger Accessibility Sizes > Slide the button to the text side of choice.

2. Make your text bold

Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > slide button to activate Bold Text.

Your device will restart but once it turns on again, your text will be bold.

3. Zoom your entire screen

If you’re finding it isn’t just the text that’s too small on the screen, you can zoom the entire display on the screen so all texts, applications and images will appear larger.

Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > View > Change from “Standard” to “Zoomed”.

4. Zoom selectively

If you don’t want the entire screen to be zoomed in, you have the option of choosing.

Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom.

When you select this option, you can now zoom into specific parts of the screen by tapping the screen three times. Drag three fingers to move around the screen and double tap and drag to change the zoom.
