A Downton Abbey exhibition is coming
Ever since Downton Abbey ended, we’ve been mourning the loss of the period drama. But no more, the show will be the subject of an exhibition that will tour the world.
"Downton Abbey: The Exhibition" opens June 17 and promises to be a "fully immersive” experience.
There will be sets from the most recognisable locations on the show, including Mrs. Patmore's kitchen and the servants' quarters. Costumes worn by the main characters will also be on display.
The exhibition will feature history about British culture and high society in the 1920s, as well as never-before-seen footage from behind the scenes
"Seen in over 250 territories, Downton Abbey is a global phenomenon and viewers all around the world continue to ask for more," Michael Edelstein, president of NBC Universal International Studios, said in a statement. "'Downton Abbey: The Exhibition' allows this incredible legacy to live on by offering a multi-million dollar museum-quality experience that will delight fans, ultimately extending the connection they have with Downton's compelling characters and storylines."
