Bruce Willis apologises for "refusing" to wear a mask
Bruce Willis has come forward to address being kicked out of a Los Angeles Rite Aid pharmacy for refusing to wear a mask.
"It was an error in judgment," Willis said in a statement to People. "Be safe out there everyone and let's continue to mask up."
Page Six reported that fellow shoppers were unimpressed with Willis' behaviour as he walked around the shop without a face covering.
He allegedly walked out of the store without purchasing anything.
Los Angeles is considered a hot spot for COVID-19, with the city reporting over 10,000 deaths from the virus.
Willis has been isolating throughout the pandemic with his ex-wife Demi Moore and their children Scout, Rumer and Tallulah in Idaho.
The decision came as a shock to fans who suspect his marriage to his wife Emma Heming may be in trouble.
However, Scout shut down the rumours when she explained Heming's absence during an episode of her self-help podcast Dopey.
"My stepmom had to be in LA waiting to get the results from taking her to the doctor," Scout said. "So, my dad came up here and then travel got crazy so my stepmom stayed in LA with my little sisters."
