A new royal baby has arrived!
Zara Tindall has given birth to a baby girl, Buckingham Palace has announced.
The Queen’s granddaughter and her husband, former rugby player Mike Tindall, welcomed their second child into the world yesterday at Stroud Maternity Unit, weighing 4.16kg (9lbs 3oz).
The Palace confirmed the happy news with a statement that read: “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike’s parents, Mr Philip and Mrs Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news.
“The baby’s name will be confirmed in due course.”
The couple also have a four-year-old daughter Mia.
The new addition is second cousin to Prince George and Princess Charlotte and the Queen’s seventh great-grandchild. She is the fourth grandchild for Princess Anne.
Zara’s pregnancy was announced in January after the couple suffered a miscarriage in 2016.
