Duchess Meghan's plans for a very different kind of royal baby arrival

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not ones for sticking to royal traditions and with the birth of their first child due in April, and their baby preparations are of no exception.

The couple is only weeks away from moving into their new home and the reports of baby preparations are far from royal tradition, with plans of a natural delivery, an acupuncture regimen for Duchess Meghan, and a labour technique being learnt called hypno-birthing.

As the due date of Meghan’s delivery inches closer, the royal has sought out Hollywood acupuncturist Ross Barr to assist her at the end of her third trimester, according to Vanity Fair.

The Duchess has also reportedly hired a ‘specialist hand holder’, better known as a doula, to aid her emotionally and spiritually through the birth of the future royal.

Lauren Mishcon, a mother-of-three, is married to Oliver Mishcon whose grandfather was head of the law firm Mishcon de Raya.

The law firm handled Princess Diana’s divorce from Prince Charles in 1996.

Meghan is never short of proving she is not like any other royal, and could be set to employ the first doula to be used in centuries by the royal family during a birth.
