Bruce Willis' birthday joy

Bruce Willis has been seen for the first time since his dementia diagnosis.

The actor has kept a low profile since he shared the news of his diagnosis with the degenerative disease earlier this year.

But on Monday, Willis' ex-wife Demi Moore shared a wholesome video to Instagram of Bruce surrounded by his closest friends and family to celebrate his 68th birthday.

His current wife Emma Hemming, as well as Willis’ daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah were all present for the party along with a few other guests.

In the video, the entire group, including Bruce, cheerfully sang Happy Birthday.

Demi captioned the video, "Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them."

She also shared a series of family photos, showing Bruce smiling widely as he posed with his daughters.

While fans were thrilled to get a rare glimpse at Willis in this capacity, there was some level of concern from his fans after he was captured occasionally stumbling ad losing his footing during the video.

The video was flooded with happy birthday messages and well wishes, while fans shared a mixture of support and concern in the comments.

One commenter wrote, “Always one of the coolest guys ever! Happy birthday Bruce!”

Another fan noted, “Even the slightest thing is the BIGGEST thing! Usually, when a person is suffering from frontotemporal dementia they don’t remember the significance of blowing out the candle. And he did it without being told to. He even commented on the dog. He was definitely lucid and a participant at the moment. I am so glad to see this! Happy Birthday, Bruce!”
