The single saddest rule at Prince Philip's funeral
Some devastating news has come out ahead of Prince Philip's funeral this Saturday as the Queen will have to "sit on her own" due to strict coronavirus rules.
Members of the royal family who attend the funeral will have to be at least two metres apart during the service at St George's Chapel in Windsor.
The only person that would be able to sit with the Queen is Philip's private secretary Brigadier Archie Miller-Bakewell.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said, “We have made it very clear that the service will be COVID-compliant.”
Everyone who attends the funeral will have to wear face masks and won't be allowed to sing.
Couples, such as Prince Charles and Camilla, will be able to sit together but must be two metres away from other grieving members of the royal family.
There has been speculation on the type of coffin that will be used for Prince Philip, but Buckingham Palace has refused to comment.
