Man finds his car 20 years after forgetting where he parked it
A man has found his car after forgetting where he parked it 20 years ago.
The 76-year-old motorist reported his car missing to cops in Frankfurt, Germany in 1997.
On Wednesday, the old vehicle was found in the garage of a building earmarked for demolition, reported The Local.
The only reason why the car was discovered was because it was holding up the workmen waiting to knock the building down.
Due to the delays, the company was forced to find out who the car belongs to and the owner then received a very surprising call informing him his lost car had been located.
The owner had left the car there over two decades ago but chose not to keep the vehicle as it no longer works.
Frankfurt authorities said: “The car can no longer be driven and will be sent to the scrap heap.”
In Britain last year, a driver forgot where he parked his car in Manchester but it was returned to him after six months by cops.
