Kim Kardashian took to the carpet in a piece of fashion history, as she wore the archived dress worn by Marilyn Monroe when she sang Happy birthday Mr President.
The Met Gala marks the opening of the museum’s annual fashion exhibition and serves as a fundraiser for the Met raising millions of dollars, with each seat costing $US30,000 ($A42,000).
