Dua Lipa wears stunning white gown to friend's wedding – here's why it's totally OK
Dua Lipa wore a stunning floor-length sheer white gown to her friend’s wedding and was not berated for it.
It’s an unspoken faux pas to NEVER wear white to a wedding but in Dua’s case it was allowed because she actually got permission from one of the grooms who designed the dress.
The 27-year-old UK pop star attended the nuptials of French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus and his long-term partner Marco Maestri in Charleval, France on August 27.
Simon gave the singer permission to wear the white see-through dress that had beautiful flower detailing, a thigh-high slit, matching underwear and capped sleeves dress because it was part of his autumn/winter collection.
Other than the fact that it was a gay wedding which obviously meant there was no bride there to be wearing white.
Dua first shot to fame following the successful release of her self titled 2017 album Dua Lipa and has since headlined multiple shows around the world.
She is set to arrive in Australia in November for her Future Nostalgia Tour.
