Duchess of Cambridge channels Princess Diana's style in new outfit
The Duke and Duchess have proven themselves extremely popular during their four-day charm offensive in Scandinavia, mingling with locals and royals alike.
But all eyes were on Kate as she stepped out in a stunning red and white houndstooth coat by Catherine Walker, which called to mind a very similar Moschino ensemble worn by her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, on a couple of occasions.
However, it wasn’t just her outfit that got people talking. The hundreds of children lining the streets were awestruck by the royal couple’s friendliness and willingness to get to know the public.
“It's generous of them to take time and shake everybody's hands,” 15-year-old Malte Bregqvist told reporters.

Later in the evening, the Duke and Duchess posed for photos with Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel ahead of a reception dinner at the British Ambassador’s residence in Stockholm.
William donned a dapper tuxedo while Kate swapped her houndstooth coat for a stunning floral gown by Erdem, worth over $3,400. Victoria cut a stylish figure in an asymmetric mid-length black silk dress, looking elegant beside her tuxedo-clad husband.
