Model shares grisly injury from Paris Fashion Week
A German model has shared brutal footage after she was injured from running into a pole during Paris Fashion Week.
Caroline Duar took to TikTok to share her story, as well as footage and photos of her bruised and bloodied eye, in a series of videos from early March.
The 27-year-old explained how she was “lost in thoughts” while on a run and slammed into a pole, knocking herself out.
After spending six hours in a Parisian hospital, she was forced to wear sunglasses to hide her injury at shows.
“When I was running, and I was like lost in thoughts, I ran full speed into a pole… like full speed,” she explained in one clip.
“I was knocked out on the floor and there was so much blood. I was in the hospital for six hours and got some stitches.”
In another video, she shared a series of photos of herself holding a napkin to her wounded eye from the hospital and with it looking swollen in the days after.
Her followers shared their shock and concern for her following the injury and wished the influencer a quick recovery.
“I thought you had eyeshadow on at first,” one fan joked.
“Glad you’re okay, that looks so intense,” another wrote.
“Awww I’m so sorry, I hope you heal quickly!” a third commented.
Caroline went on to attend several fashion shows after her injury, covering up her eye with a pair of large dark sunglasses.
