Crown Princess Mary of Denmark dazzled crowds as she stepped out in a black and white number for an event in Frederiksburg on Monday.
The 47-year-old was attending the launch of the research competition Green Challenge which saw competitors collaborating with companies to develop strategies to benefit the environment,
The smart dress was paired with a light nude pink bag and Mary-Jane style heels.
The Australian-born princess styled her brunette locks and kept her accessories simple, opting for classic diamond earrings and natural make-up.
As she arrived at the Department of Food Science at the University of Copenhagen, a young girl handed her flowers and the two shared a sweet, brief encounter.
Joining the Princess was the Minister for Higher Education and Science, Tommy Ahlers.
Princess Mary is married to Prince Frederik with whom she shares four children: Prince Christian, 13, Princess Isabella, 11, and twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, eight.
The Tasmanian-born royal first met Prince Frederik – heir to the Danish throne – at a Sydney bar during the 2000 Olympics. The royal couple married in 2004.
