Show-stopping fashion at the 2022 Bafta Awards
On Sunday night, a stellar guest list of film and TV stars hit the red carpet at London's Royal Albert Hall for the 75th annual Bafta Film Awards.
Rebel Wilson hosted the evening, and made a show-stopping presentation on the red carpet in an elegant black and blue tulle gown.
While many of the award nominees were noticeably absent from the red carpet (possibly due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions), those in attendance did not hold back on their daring fashion choices.
Lady Gaga, who was nominated for her role in House of Gucci, stole the show as she represented old Hollywood glamour in a forest green, figure-hugging gown that was custom made by Ralph Lauren.
Guests made the most of current fashion trends, with many deciding to opt for velvet fabrics, plunging necklines and corseted dresses.
Inside the event, fan favourite Belfast took home the award for Outstanding British Film, while the Japanese movie Drive My Car took out Best Film Not in the English Language.
The Power of the Dog was the big winner of the night, taking out the Best Film award, as well as Best Director going to New Zealand's Jane Campion.
The star-studded event has elevated the hype for the Oscars, with the 94th Academy Awards to be held on March 27th.
