Eagle-eyed royal fans noticed that Princess Charlotte has copied a habit from her mum, Duchess Catherine.

Princess Charlotte was seen pulling her ponytail over her shoulder and curling it around her fingers, just like her mum has been known to do during public appearances.

The royal fan TikTok account RoyalFanCams shared a montage of the pair doing the move.

Royal fans loved the similarities between the pair, flooding the comment section with heart emojis.

Duchess Kate has been open about her struggles during the coronavirus pandemic, which includes homeschooling her kids and giving them haircuts.

"During lockdown, we've had to take on additional roles that others in our communities or in our lives would have helped us with," the mum of three said in a recent video call with parents.

"I've become a hairdresser this lockdown, much to my children's horror."
