Beautiful moment between Prince William and Queen caught by onlookers
Prince William was heard yelling out to the Queen, “Bye, Gran” following a gathering at Windsor Castle with all of the senior royals.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with the Queen along with other members of the royal family following their three-day-tour through England, Wales and Scotland.
It is the second time the royals have gathered together since the beginning of the Pandemic.
While the Queen is close to all her grandchildren, both William and Her Majesty share a special relationship since he is heir to the throne after his father, Prince Charles.
Queen Elizabeth has reportedly increased the duties of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as her time on the British throne closes to an end.
Another member of the royal family Her Majesty is close to is Prince Harry.
Despite he and his wife Meghan Markle deciding to step down from their senior member royals earlier this year, the Queen is set to meet with her grandson in 2021 for a review of the terms of his split from The Firm and his duties as a senior member of the royal family.
She is reportedly keen to keep Harry tied to the monarchy as much as possible.
