Gordon Ramsay set to be a dad again at 52!
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has announced via Instagram that his wife Tana is expecting their fifth child together.
The news was delivered via the 52-year-old's Instagram account on New Year’s Eve with the whole family gathered round to hear the news. Ramsay’s four children wished everyone a happy new year before Ramsay filmed a close up of Tana’s baby bump.
The sweet video announcement ended with Gordon being over the moon that "we’ve got another one coming! Oh my lord!" With over one million views on the video alone, it’s safe to say that his fans are almost as happy as he is.
Ramsay’s Instagram page was flooded with well wishes for the family with many fans saying congratulations and commenting on the joy that can be heard in Ramsay’s voice.
One fan expressed, "You sound so excited!" and another stated, "That baby is going to be so loved and spoiled."
Ramsay’s celebrity friends have commented on the exciting news as well, with David Beckham commenting on the video, writing "Best news ever mate."
The happy announcement comes just two years after the couple suffered from a devastating miscarriage in June 2016, when Tana, 44, was five months pregnant with a boy.
With Ramsay’s eldest daughter Megan running the London Marathon in memory of her baby brother, Gordon revealed in an interview to the Daily Mail that the loss had brought the family closer together.
“You realise how lucky you are and you reflect on what you have, how fortunate you are with our remaining children and you remind yourself of what you've got. It's made the family unit even tighter."
With each Ramsay child wishing the audience a happy new year, it’s clear that everyone is on board and excited about what 2019 will bring.
