It’s a girl! Sweet meaning behind Pippa Middleton’s new baby’s name
Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews are the proud new parents of their baby girl, Grace Elizabeth Jane.
The announcement of little Grace’s birth followed in the early hours of Monday, and excitement around her name is already swirling.
It is not confirmed why Grace recieved her middle name Elizabeth, but it appears it may have been inspired by Her Majesty herself.
Pippa and Duchess Kate’s mother Carole also have the middle name Elizabeth interestingly enough, so it is no surprise if Pippa wanted to honour her parents as well.

Kate and Prince William also chose to give their daughter Princess Charlotte the middle name Elizabeth.
Pippa's daughter's second middle name is Jane, which is a tribute to James's own mother and Pippa's mother-in-law, Jane Matthews.
Pippa gave birth to a baby girl, and she weighed in at 6lbs 7oz at around 4:22am.
"Mother and baby are doing well," a family source said.
"She's perfect, everyone is overjoyed at such a happy arrival."
The new arrival is the fifth grandchild for Pippa's parents Carole and Michael Middleton, and she is the second child to Pippa and James who had their two-year-old son Arthur on 15 October 2018 in the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London.
Pippa’s pregnancy was only confirmed in early March by her mother, as the Middleton sister chooses to remain notoriously private.
