Lindsay Lohan is a mum!
The actress has given birth to her first child, a son named Luai, with her husband Bader Shammas, according to a statement shared by a representative on Monday.
“The family is over the moon in love,” the representative told Page Six.
The baby was born in Dubai, although his exact date of birth is not yet known.
The name Luai carries a beautiful significance, as it is an Arabic name which means “shield” or “protector” and can also mean “strong” and “steady”.
The Mean Girls star first announced her pregnancy in March with a picture of a “coming soon” onesie and the caption: “We are blessed and excited”.
Stars like Amanda Seyfried and Paris Hilton took to the comments to congratulate the couple on the “wonderful” news.
“Congratulations love! So happy for you. Welcome to the Mummy Club!” fellow new mother Paris Hilton wrote at the time.
Lohan and Shammas first made their relationship public in February 2020 and got engaged in November of the following year.
They secretly tied the knot in April 2022.
