Serena Williams shares a sweet moment with new daughter
Serena Williams has shared an intimate moment with her fans, giving a behind-the-scenes look into life with her new daughter, Alexis Olympia.
On Snapchat, the 36-year-old tennis star could be seen snuggling up to her daughter as she kissed her on the forehead.
Serena also took to Instagram to share an image with her and Alexis.
The black and white photo shows Alexis staring into the camera while leaning on her mum’s chest.
Serena captioned the photo, “Ladies is a "push present" a thing? If so what did you get if anything? #conversationstarter"
Despite only being one month old, Alexis already has her own Instagram account.
The newborn’s account has gained over 76,000 followers since it was created and contains adorable pictures of the bundle of joy.
The account is run by Serena and her fiancé Alexis Ohanian, who is the co-founder of Reddit.
On Tuesday, it was announced that Serena will make her competitive comeback to tennis next January to defend her title at the Australian Open.
The Australian Open was the same tournament that Serena beat her sister Venus in while pregnant.
During a TED 2017 conference Serena said, “I definitely plan on coming back. I’m not done yet. If [Venus is] still playing, I know I can play. This is just a new part of my life. My baby’s going to be in the stands and hopefully cheering for me.”
