Devilled eggs
Devilled eggs are a classic for a reason: they’re delicious, and with this recipe, they’re so simple to make.
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
- ¼ cup of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of American mustard
- ⅛ teaspoon of salt
- Ground black pepper
- Paprika
Method:
- Hard boil eggs. Drain water and run eggs under cold water for several minutes.
- Crack shells and remove whilst under running water.
- Half eggs lengthwise and scoop out yolks. Place whites on a serving plate.
- In a medium sized bowl, mash yolks. Add vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.
- Scoop or, for a fancier look, pipe yolk mix back into their white halves.
- Top with paprika. Serve.
