Home-made maple syrup

Maple syrup is a must have ingredient for pancake mornings, but it also goes well with pikelets, bacon and even popcorn. This recipe is so simple and delicious; you’ll never go store bought again.

Method:

  1. In a heated saucepan, combine sugar and water.
  2. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, and stir in maple flavouring.
  3. Take off the cool and pour into squeeze bottle.
  4. Serve drizzled over pancakes or your preferred meal!
