Iced green tea with mint and lemon
This easy to make iced tea is both delicious and healthy as it’s packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon Zen Green Tea matcha green tea powder
- 1 freshly sliced lemon
- 1 teaspoon natural maple syrup
- 1 Jug water (sparkling, still or tap)
- Mint leaves, optional
- Apple slices, optional
Method:
- Pour 1/3 cup of hot water into the matcha and dissolve the powder.
- Add the teaspoon of maple syrup and stir.
- Pour mixture into your jug of water.
- Squeeze the lemons and add into the jug.
- Serve with ice.
Note: Matcha green tea powder is an incredible superfood. It contains the highest level of antioxidants compared to any other natural substance. Ensure you buy from a high quality source as high quality matcha is naturally sweet, vibrant green and has a fine texture.
