Watch as snake catcher captures deadly “monster” serpent
Having worked as a snake catcher in Australia for 10 years, Jarrod Bingham has seen his fair share of dangerous reptiles, but he says the eastern brown caught over the weekend is “easily” the biggest he’s ever caught.
Bingham was called after the six-foot-long “monster” had slithered inside a water meter box in Rockbank, west of Melbourne.
It took three attempts to capture the camouflaged snake, and even after the beast was in the bag, it struggled to stay there.
Now that he’s caught the biggest actual snake of his career, Bingham, a Councillor for Moorabool Shire Council tells the Daily Mail he’s now set his sights on “catching those snakes out in parliament,” and will run for state government at the end of the year.
