Granddad reveals real reason his grandkids didn’t show up for dinner
This photo of a grandpa eating burgers went viral last week. His grandchild, university student, Kelsey Harmon, posted the photo with the heartbreaking caption: “Dinner with papaw tonight. He made 12 burgers for all six grandkids and I'm the only one who showed.”
It was heartbreaking. Even infuriating. The internet couldn’t bear to hear of this sweet man’s night spoilt by ungrateful grandchildren. But as it turns out, “Pawpaw” has come out to set the record straight.
Keith Harmon, speaking with Inside Edition, said, "There was a failure to communicate.”
He added: "I thought that everyone was invited but that is not the way it turned out. There was some grandkids that didn't know about it."
We’re sure his six grandkids are very appreciative of their grandparents and to set everything right, the Harmon family is helping Pawpaw with a barbeque on the weekend with burgers for all!
