The granddaughter of a 90-year-old man living in a US retirement community shared photos of her happy grandpa with his new pal, saying, “My grandpa just got a new dog and had his caregiver take pictures of him to send to me.” The cute photos have been shared over 40,000, warming the hearts of hundreds of thousands more.
This new online sensation comes just over a week after “sad papaw” became a viral hit when a Twitter user posted a photo of her grandfather with the caption, “dinner with papaw tonight... he made 12 burgers for all 6 grandkids and I'm the only one who showed. love him.” The Internet quickly struck back, organising a cookout attended by over 100 people!
