James Bond's glorious French chateau up for sale
Sir Sean Connery is selling his glorious French chateau for a whopping $33.87 million.
One of the big screen’s most iconic 007 British naval intelligence officers in the James Bond movie franchise, Connery bought the home in 1975, and with glorious views overlooking the city of Nice and Mediterranean sea, it’s not hard to see why he has held on to it for so long.
The gorgeous home sits atop a hill on the Cap de Nice and was used in several scenes of the Bond-movie Never Say Never Again that was filmed in Nice and nearby Monaco.
By the time Connery actually into the French chateau, the actor had already achieved wealth in the hundreds of millions and was turning away movie contracts that would have paid him as much as US$450 million for one film.
The property spans over one acre and features incredible landscaped terraces that have winding paths to the sea, bright green strips of lawn and a luxurious saltwater pool.
The house is built on five levels with an elevator and rooftop terrace, with five bedrooms and baths are distributed between all the floors.
