Art gallery on the Ovation of the Seas

Fine art might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a cruise ship, but all that could be set to change with Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas.

The Ovation of the Seas, touted by Royal Caribbean as the “newest, biggest and most-technologically advanced ship to ever be deployed to Australia”, is set to contain an 11,000-piece collection of art, inspired by the ship’s exotic destinations.

The collection was curated by London-based Peter Millard and Partners.

Inspired by Confucius’ words “Wherever you go, go with all your heart,” the collection features contemporary pieces from artists from around the world.
