A look inside Virgin Australia crew’s secret in-flight retreat

Getting some sleep on a long-haul flight is no mean feat for most passengers. If you’re a flight attendant, however, you may find it a little easier. Newly released photos of Virgin Australia’s Boeing 777-300ER plane, which flies from Australia to Los Angeles (with a flight time of up to 15 hours), reveal the cosy quarters cabin crew members get to retreat to while the rest of us struggle in economy.

The secret retreats are situated above business class (for pilots only) and economy class (for flight attendants), providing the crew with comfy single beds, sheets, blankets and pillows.

See the hidden rooms in the gallery above and tell us in the comments below, what do you do to help fall asleep on long flights?
