Hotel staff walk out leaving guests in the lurch
Hotel staff who walked out of their job have left their shocked and confused customers in the lobby.
Employees of the Hampton Inn and Suites at Boynton Beach in Florida appeared to walk out, leaving customers out to dry and unable to check in.
A video shared to Reddit shows police at the front desks on the phone attempting to sort out the situation, according to the poster.
“Entire Hilton Suites staff walked out, Boynton Beach,” the post read.
“No one has been able to check in for over 4 hours.
“Mine and another guest’s keycard are not working so we can't get into our rooms. Six squad cars have shown up to help?”
It is unclear whether the staff quit, however, commenters suggested that it could be due to poor management.
“Some manager must have really ticked everyone off,” one person wrote.
“Do I smell a bad work environment and incompetent local leadership?” another commented.
