Mid-flight singalong strikes the wrong chord
A man who sang a Christian worship song while strumming his guitar on board a plane has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.
Jonathan Neo was on an easyJet flight when he started to sing to his fellow passengers mid-flight.
Footage of the singing was shared online by the pastor of the group Jack Jensz Jr who captioned it: “Worshipping our King Jesus 30,000 feet in the air!”
The video, which received a whopping 31 million views in just two days, showed a few of the passengers singing along with Jonathan while others looked on angrily.
Many people in the comments section slammed the group for inconveniencing passengers and for their lack of respect.
“No self awareness here at all. I'll be praying for you guys to actually learn some,” one wrote.
“I would rather go to Jesus right NOW than endure that nightmare of a flight,” another commented.
“Do you feel good about holding people hostage? Did Jesus say to force feed His word against people's will? Disgraceful,” another person wrote.
“What a self-righteous, presumptuous, and annoying thing to inflict on a plane full of strangers,” someone else commented.
