Beef skewers with macadamia and chilli sauce

Easy to make and super delicious, this meal packs a powerful flavour punch that will not disappoint.

Ingredients:

Beef skewers

  • 1 kilo rump steak, cut into bite-sized chunks

Marinade

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 4 large cloves of garlic, finely chopped

  • 5 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • 16 bamboo skewers

Macadamia and chilli sauce

  • 1 tablespoon macadamia or peanut oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce

  • 4 shallots, finely chopped
  • 125ml coconut cream

  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar

  • ½ cup macadamias, roasted

  • 3 large mild red chillies, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon lemongrass, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
