Salmon and cream cheese roll-ups

Simple, tasty and easy-to-assemble, these salmon and cream cheese roll-ups are the perfect appetiser to serve at a party or get-together.

 Makes: 10-12

 Ingredients:

  • 220g smoked salmon, thin sliced
  • 120g cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon, fresh chives, thinly sliced
  • Pinch of salt
  • Curly leaf parsley, to garnish

Method:

1. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, lemon juice, zest, chives, and small pinch of salt together.

2. Lay out the salmon slices and use a spatula to spread a thin layer of cream cheese mixture onto each of the slices. Carefully roll salmon slices into spirals. Cut the rolls into even pieces. Secure with a toothpick.

3. Arrange the rolls on a platter and garnish with curly leaf parsley.
