Blind dog has his sight restored
Duffy the Irish terroir hasn’t had the easiest of lives. The rescue dog bonded immediately with his new adoptive family, but had many health issues that lead him to develop diabetes, and eventually lose his eye sight.
After a lot of effort on his family’s behalf, his general condition improved and he qualified for surgery to fix his vision. After months of being blind, his sight was finally restored. The above video shows the first time Duffy is reunited with his family since his operation.
His reaction is almost too much. He runs into the room with such excitement and doesn’t know who to look at first. Eventually he starts happily cooing in thanks.
