<p dir="ltr">When was the last time you had a bath? Does your home even have a bath tub?</p> <p dir="ltr">If you haven’t used it in a while, it’s actually quite interesting to ask whether your bathroom really needs it. </p> <p dir="ltr">Baths are perfect for parents with young children, to help them shower. </p> <p dir="ltr">Whether you’re thinking of moving house, it is possible that the potential new owners would prefer a bath. </p> <p dir="ltr">However, not every bathroom can have a bathtub because there is just not enough room.</p> <p dir="ltr">Bathtubs are also more prevalent in houses with three or more bedrooms.</p> <p dir="ltr">If you’re looking to sell, keep in mind that a bathtub itself does not exactly affect the value of the house, but is a preferred feature if the space is there. </p> <p dir="ltr"><em>Image: Shutterstock</em></p>

Two babies survive being flown through a tornado in a BATHTUB

<p>When a terrifying tornado started on its path of destruction in the US state of Kentucky last week, grandmother Clara Lutz jumped into action.</p> <p>Clara's house began to shake, as she grabbed her grandchildren and sheltered them in the bathtub along with a blanket, a pillow and a Bible.</p> <p>15-month-old Kaden and his three-month-old Dallas were then ripped from their grandmother as the whole bathtub was pulled out of the house by the storm along with the babies, as Clara told the local <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.14news.com/2021/12/17/2-babies-survive-after-tornado-carries-them-away-bathtub/" target="_blank">Channel 14 News</a>.</p> <p class="css-1316j2p-StyledParagraph e4e0a020">“Next thing I knew, the tub had lifted and it was out of my hands,” she said.</p> <p class="css-1316j2p-StyledParagraph e4e0a020">“I couldn’t hold on. Mother pleads not guilty over bathtub death

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A Melbourne media commentator will stand trial over the death of her daughter in a bathtub.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fiori Giovanni, 36, pleaded not guilty to the child homicide of Illen Bellinger in Southbank in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday, May 10.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The mother was then committed to stand trial in Victoria’s Supreme Court.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The court was told previously that she had been accused of negligence amounting to manslaughter after allegedly leaving her baby Illen unsupervised in the bath.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The court was also told Giovanni’s two-and-a-half year old son was in the bath at the same time but did not drown.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Giovanni, born in the African nation of Eritea, sought asylum in Europe before moving to Melbourne where she became a commentator, keynote speaker, and wrote a book about her experiences as a child soldier.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Giovanni is still on bail and will appear in the Supreme Court on May 26 for a directions hearing.</span></p> <p><strong>Image Credit: 7NEWS</strong></p>

Oprah reveals detail about her bathroom that stuns everyone

<p>When it comes to bath time, former talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has revealed that she doesn’t mess around by any stretch of the imagination. In a recent appearance on The Late <em>Late Show with James Corden Show</em>, Winfrey told the audience that she has a marble bathtub that has been hand-carved to the contours and lines of her body.</p> <p><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Flatelateshowcbs%2Fvideos%2F2142631242420226%2F&amp;show_text=0&amp;width=560" width="560" height="315" style="border: none; overflow: hidden;" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" allowfullscreen="true"></iframe></p> <p>Winfrey has let her love of bathtubs slip before, telling Vouge in an earlier interview, "I major in bathtubs. I spend my time looking for the best possible bathtub a woman can buy.”</p> <p>That said, talk show hose James Corden had quite some difficulty envisioning the situation.</p> <p>"In my head, Oprah's bath is like a Roman bath that only you go in yourself, and there are just general people around," he said.</p> <p>"I do have a hand-carved tub... (carved) out of marble and onyx,” Winfrey confirms.</p> <p>“You could fit a couple in there. However… however – it was carved to the shape of my body.”</p> <p>What are your thoughts? Best grandma fills grandson’s bathtub with colourful spaghetti

<p>Remember when you were a kid and all you wanted to do was have fun and make as much mess as you possibly could? Well, one doting grandma has indulged her grandson, named Dresden, in a very messy – and very fun – activity.</p> <p>Reddit user, <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/confibulator" target="_blank"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">confibulator</span></strong></a>, shared the most joyful photo we’ve seen in a long time to the website of their son in a state of pure bliss. “What kind of person cooks 15 lbs [6.8 kg] of spaghetti in various colours, then uses it to fill a bathtub so a five-year-old can squish around?” they captioned the photo. “A grandma.”</p> <p><img width="429" height="764" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/34331/image_.jpg" alt="spaghetti bath" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"/></p> <p>The photo quickly went viral, with one commenter writing, “I hope when she came in the bathroom with the spaghetti she said ‘Spaghetti or not here I come!’”</p> <p>And, judging by the look on Dresden’s face, all that cooking was totally worth it. “He spent over an hour in there giggling, then got out and giggled for another hour.”</p>
