Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly chosen to settle their acrimonious legal dispute over their jointly owned French winery, Château Miraval, through mediation rather than pursuing further court battles. According to recent court filings obtained from TMZ, Jolie, 48, and Pitt, 59, have mutually agreed to attempt mediation as a means to resolve their disagreements concerning the future of Château Miraval. This development comes in the wake of allegations from Jolie's former investment company, Nouvel, accusing Pitt and other "co-conspirators" of trying to maintain control over Château Miraval by allegedly misusing and depleting its assets. The court documents claimed that Pitt had mismanaged the company's funds by directing substantial amounts towards personal endeavours, such as extravagant swimming pool renovations, repeated reconstruction of a staircase, and investing millions in restoring a recording studio. The legal dispute initially arose when Pitt filed a lawsuit against his former wife, claiming that she had sold her share of the winery to a Russian oligarch in 2021. According to a court filing, Pitt appeared upset over Jolie's decision to sell Nouvel to Stoli instead of him, and he allegedly failed to treat Nouvel as an equal partner in their business dealings. Furthermore, there were allegations that Pitt attempted to leverage the winery business to silence Jolie regarding the circumstances surrounding their divorce, which included allegations of abuse and disputes over child custody. Jolie had previously accused Pitt of physical abuse towards her and two of their children during a flight in 2016, leading to their separation later that same year. According to documents reported by the New York Times in 2022, Jolie's team claimed that Pitt engaged in a prolonged outburst during a flight from France to California in September 2016. The allegations included claims that Pitt had choked one of the children and struck another in the face, and had grabbed Jolie by the head and shaken her. In response to these accusations, Pitt's lawyer asserted that Pitt took responsibility for his actions but would not accept false claims against him. The actor has faced numerous personal attacks and misrepresentations throughout the legal proceedings. Brad Pitt is set to make his formula one debut at the Silverstone Grand Prix for his upcoming F1 movie that is co-produced by British F1 Driver, Lewis Hamilton. Angelina Jolie's bombshell allegations against Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie has claimed that her ex Brad Pitt was physically abusive towards her and two of their six children on a flight in 2016. The Hollywood actress’s legal team claimed that Pitt grabbed Jolie’s head and shook her then choked one of their children and struck another when they tried to defend her. Pitt’s representation vehemently denied the allegations saying the allegations are "another rehash that only harms the family”. The couple have been locked in a legal fight over their French home and winery in which the description of the abuse came to light. News of the alleged abuse first came to light soon after it happened, however the details were kept private in divorce documents. Further investigations by the FBI and Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services found that no action against Pitt was necessary. Pitt was then granted 50-50 custody of the children but the decision was soon appealed by Jolie and eventually became nullified. Reports of the abuse were first reported by The New York Times which read that on September 14, 2016, Jolie, Pitt and their six children were travelling from the winery, Chateau Miraval, to Los Angeles. "Pitt's aggressive behavior started even before the family got to the airport, with Pitt having a confrontation with one of the children. After the flight took off, Jolie approached Pitt and asked him what was wrong," the filing says. "Pitt accused her of being too deferential to the children and verbally attacked her." "He pulled her into the bathroom and began yelling at her. Pitt grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her, and then grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the bathroom wall." It is then when one of their children verbally defended Jolie, which caused Pitt to lash out. "Pitt lunged at his own child and Jolie grabbed him from behind to stop him. To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane's seats injuring Jolie's back and elbow," the filing says. "The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face." Pitt then proceeded to pour beer on Jolie, and beer and red wine on the kids. Jolie reported the incident to police, which also showed a photo of a bruise on Jolie's elbow and a "rug-burn type injury" on her hand. Despite all this, it was agreed that Pitt would not be charged. The people you work with have the power to make going to work heavenly or hellish, so it should come as no surprise that Brad Pitt - whose career in acting and producing spans 35 years - would be selective about who he works with. In fact, Bullet Train co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson has revealed that Pitt has a “long” list of actors he never wants to work with again. Brad Pitt has forked out a hefty $40 million for the historic D. L. James house, known as “Seaward”. The beautiful home is his latest purchase and overlooks California’s stunning central coast. Rich in history, the famed property was built in 1918 and is believed to be the most expensive property ever sold in the area of Carmel. Locals are reportedly thrilled to have another big-name celebrity joining them, especially after the iconic property has sat empty for years. Pitt is reportedly a big fan of Craftsman-style homes, which could be why he has purchased his latest bachelor pad. It is rumoured he could be joined by his brood of six children with ex-Angelina Jolie. Known as the D.L. James House, the property was designed by 20th century architect Charles Sumner Greene. It was designed on a piece of land owned by infamous author Daniel Lewis James. Previously, it was owned by Searock since 1999, a limited liability company tied to the late Chicago financier Joe Ritchie and his wife, Sharon Ritchie. The luxury property, which is just metres from the beach, boasts a ‘wooden aesthetic’ and is built from locally quarried sandstone and granite. It has arched windows, with bricks individually chosen by Charles Greene, and a tiled Mediterranean-style roof. According to the organisation’s website, as part of the design Mr. Greene “built up the outer walls so that they appear to be growing out of the cliffs.” The actor already has a $5million beach house in Goleta, California, which he purchased in 2000 when he married Jennifer Aniston. Brad Pitt has opened up about his high-profile divorce from Angelina Jolie in a candid new interview. The Oscar-winning actor told <a href="https://www.gq.com/story/brad-pitt-august-cover-profile" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GQ magazine</a> that he felt deep turmoil over the split, but believes deep sadness is a vital part of growth. “I think all our hearts are broken,” Pitt said. “I always felt very alone in my life, alone growing up as a kid, alone even out here, and it’s really not ’til recently that I have had a greater embrace of my friends and family.” Pitt and Jolie, 47, ended their 12-year relationship in 2016, prompting a years-long divorce battle which is yet to be finalised, although they were declared legally single in 2019. During a hilarious and at times touching and revealing podcast with Gus Worland recently, Hugh Jackman's wife Deborra-Lee Furness addressed the longheld rumours surrounding her husband’s sexuality – before opening up on how she and the children cope whenever Hugh has a sex scene in one of his films. When asked by Worland on his Not an Overnight Success podcast about the rumours that Hugh is “gay”, Furness simply mocked the idea as baseless and “so silly” – and that it’s just one of many rumours that have circulated about Jackman over the years. “I mean HELLO, guys,” said Furness, “if he was gay, he could be gay! 'He didn't have to hide in the closet anymore, and he'd be dating Brad Pitt, or whatever. Not that Brad's gay, but you know what I'm saying!' Angelina Jolie has shared more about her experience with convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein, revealing in a new interview that she turned down a role in Martin Scorsese’s 2004 film The Aviator to avoid working with him. “If you get yourself out of the room, you think he attempted but didn’t, right?” Jolie told The Guardian while reflecting on filming the Weinstein-produced film Playing by Heart in 1998 when she was 21. “The truth is that the attempt and the experience of the attempt is the assault.” Jolie has previously spoken about the incident with Weinstein as a “bad experience”, but now labels it as an assault. “It was beyond a pass, it was something I had to escape. I stayed away and warned people about him,” she said in the interview. “I remember telling Johnny [Lee Miller], my first husband, who was great about it, to spread the word to other guys - don’t let girls go alone with him. “I was asked to do Aviator, but I said no because he was involved. I never associated or worked with him again.” Though her first husband stood by her, her most recent partner, Brad Pitt, was initially less supportive. Angelina Jolie is selling her estate in Provence, France, after several legal issues. The actress filed for divorce from fellow actor Brad Pitt over five years ago, yet the couple remain linked due to the glorious French Chateau that was once a blessing, but now a plague for them. The pair purchased the estate back in 2008, for a reported €45 million (AUD $72 million). The incredible property includes several residential and non-residential structures, from a rundown, adorable chapel to a high-functioning farm. What gave the chateau a firm reputation, other than its high-profile owners, was its glorious pink wine which won them Wine Spectator’s award for best rosé in the world, back in 2013. Jolie claims since the couple split back in 2016, Pitt has prevented her from selling the estate. In June, the mother-of-four even went so far as to file a petition to ask the judge to lift the order that prevents a transfer of assets so she could finally be rid of the property. Considering the couple purchased the estate prior to their nuptials in 2014, Jolie’s lawyers say the glorious French chateau should solely be considered hers. “After all these years of trying to extricate herself from being business partners with her ex-husband on acceptable financial terms, Ms. Jolie is extremely desirous of closing the pending agreement for the sale of Nouvel, LLC, and requests that the Court issue an order lifting the ATROs and specifying that they shall not apply to Ms. Jolie’s sale of Nouvel, LLC,” the actress’ legal team stated in a document that was obtained by Us Weekly. The rumour mill has claimed the actress has plans to sell it to a willing buyer for an estimate of USD $61 million.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce proceedings are still underway, and now new court documents submitted by the actress have claimed there were multiple incidents of alleged domestic abuse. A source told 9 News, "Oscar and Grace are adorable together. Given they have similar upbringings I'm sure they've bonded over that." "Oscar also loves that she's an Ausmerican, and adopted, just like he is." "It's wonderful seeing them enjoying young love, and Hugh and Deb are so pleased that he's happy." This year has not been easy for many of us who have had to deal the coronavirus pandemic, including Hugh and Deb who are thankful their son has found happiness. "It's a huge relief to Hugh and Deb that Oscar's found someone who is so down to earth and really understands all aspects of his life – that's exactly what any parent wants for their child. There's a bizarre synergy between them, given that Grace's parents are also performers." Grace's dad Sean said in an interview in 2010 that he would not be surprised if she went on to work in the industry, but not as an actor. Dutch graphic designer <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.instagram.com/p/B6Bmadul1H9/" target="_blank">Ard Gelinck</a> has spent his time for the last ten years creating pictures of celebrities posing with their younger selves. Gelinck uses Photoshop to create the iconic masterpieces, which are perfectly edited to appear side by side the older celebrity. He spoke to <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.unilad.co.uk/celebrity/artist-creates-incredible-pictures-of-celebrities-posing-with-their-younger-selves/" target="_blank">UNILAD</a> about his hobby, saying that he has been creative since he was a child. “I often challenge myself to create a certain series of images, including the ‘then and now’ series that you see a lot now,” he explained. “The ideas come up and the celebrities that I choose are often random.” Gelinck has received a lot of attention for his creations, with many of his celebrity subjects sharing his creations on their social media pages. However, he stays humble. “I was pleasantly surprised when it was picked up by various media worldwide. [It’s] nice to see that you can entertain people and show something that makes them think and laugh,” he said. Some of the creations that Gelinck is most proud of include David Bowie and Lady Gaga but added there were “too many” to choose from. With examples like Harrison Ford and Han Solo, Mark Hamill and Luke Skywalker as well as beloved Madonna with her younger self, it’s easy to see why he has a hard time choosing a favourite. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston may have parted ways years ago, but the pair is still making headlines as their old Beverly Hills mansion returns to the market for US$44.5 million (NZ$67.6 million). The gated property, which the stars owned from 2001 to 2006, was sold to a hedge fund executive before being handed over to real estate agency Hilton & Hyland. Maddox Jolie-Pitt breaks silence on strained relationship with dad Brad Pitt

Maddox Jolie-Pitt has opened up about his dad Brad Pitt, giving a brief insight into the difficulty of their relationship. It seems their relationship hasn’t improved, he admitted in a rare interview about his famous father. The 18-year-old who is studying biochemistry at Yonsei University in South Korea, said on film obtained by In Touch Weekly that he wasn’t sure if his father would visit him while he is studying abroad. “I don’t know about that [or] what’s happening,” he told a reporter. Maddox also spoke on their relationship being over or improving to which he said “Well, whatever happens, happens”. Reports show Maddox and his 55-year-old Hollywood heavyweight father had a falling out in 2016 after an incident aboard a private plane. Allegedly, Pitt hit his eldest son in a rage - a few days later, his wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce. Pitt fell under investigation by US authorities after being accused of physically and verbally abusing his children during an angry outburst, TMZ reported in September 2016. Pitt vehemently denied allegations of violence against his children, however he did admit to screaming at his son. The FBI cleared Pitt of any violent wrongdoings and said they would not file charges against him. 44-year-old Angelina dropped Maddox off at university in August. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's six children have all grown up. To many, they might still be seen as young kids. However, the oldest is now 17 and the youngest is 10. They’re no longer little kids! Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10, have grown up with Jolie and Pitt as their parents, which usually means living in the media spotlight. Public appearances of all six kids together are extremely rare, however the Jolie-Pitt brood enjoyed a family outing this week when they attended a screening of The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind in New York. Maddox, Zahara and Pax were adopted from orphanages in Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam, whereas Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox are Jolie's and Pitt's biological children. After 12 years together, Jolie and Pitt decided to split in September 2016 and Jolie has been seeking primary custody of all six children. Angelina Jolie has revealed that she tried to save her marriage to ex-husband Brad Pitt by working on the film By the Sea together. The couple met while working on Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005 and have six children together. They hadn’t worked tougher again until the 2015 film about a marriage in crisis, which Jolie also wrote and directed. “We had met working together and we worked together well,” Jolie told The Hollywood Reporter’s podcast, Awards Chatter. “I wanted us to do some serious work together ... I thought it would be a good way for us to communicate.” However, Jolie said working on the film with Pitt may not have helped their marriage. “In some ways it was, and in some ways we learned some things,” she said. “But there was a heaviness probably during that situation that carried on and it wasn’t because of the film. “It was something that we were dealing [with] ... things happen for different reasons, and things ... why did I write that exact piece? Why did we feel that way when we made it? I’m not sure. “A piece of art can be something that’s healing or something that’s difficult,” added Jolie. “I don’t know. I’m glad we did that film because we did explore something together. Whatever it was maybe it didn’t solve certain things, but we did communicate something that needed to be communicated to each other.” Jolie also spoke about the difficulties of divorce while promoting her most recent directorial effort, First They Killed My Father. “Sometimes maybe it appears I am pulling it all together. But really I am just trying to get through my days.” “I don’t enjoy being single. It’s not something I wanted,” she said in an interview with The Telegraph. “There are no upsides, there’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard.”
