Jamie Oliver opens up on former feud with Gordon Ramsay

<p>Jamie Oliver has opened up about his former feud with Gordon Ramsay on <em>The Louis Theroux Podcast</em>. </p> <p>The 49-year-old told Theroux that after years of exchanges with the <em>Hell's Kitchen</em> star, their wives Jools Oliver and Tana Ramsay were the ones who stepped in an encouraged them to patch things up. </p> <p>"I was a target [for] probably 10 years, I think, it was regular," Oliver said of Ramsay.</p> <p>"I generally used to bite [back] once a year, and then that used to set him off for another year ... I think it kind of generated the noise, it was serving its purpose for him - I mean, I'd have to ask Gordon what it was all about.</p> <p>"Cause we never fell out, we got on for the first couple of years, and then - as he did more TV - it just went on and on and on, and it was quite, it was painful but in the end it was Jools and his wife Tana that sorted it out."</p> <p>Oliver revealed that despite their former feud, his kids are friends with Ramsay's children. </p> <p>"It was like, 'come on dads, grow up' so I think that both of us got a telling off, and then we went to have a drink and put it all to rest and let bygones be bygones," he said.</p> <p>When Oliver's Italian chain went under, Ramsay was "very supportive" and "very kind", even sending him messages of encouragement. </p> <p>Oliver also opened up on his feud with Marco Pierre White, and said he was "destroyed" to hear his "hero" slam him in the press and didn't know what sparked it as they never worked together. </p> <p>"He doesn't like me at all, still doesn't," he said, but added "that's fine, I don't need anything from him".</p> <p>"I still think he was like a game changer, he was still my hero for that period of my life but that's life, and it's not just Marco, it's lots of people," Oliver said.</p> <p><em>Image: Alan Davidson/ Shutterstock Editorial</em></p> <p> </p>

Guy Pearce's secret split with Game of Thrones star

<p>Aussie actor Guy Pearce and Carice van Houten, the mother of his son, have split.</p> <p>The <em>Game of Thrones </em>actress took to Instagram to confirm their split, and that the pair have remained close as they co-parent. </p> <p>“I don’t usually engage in discussions about my personal life, but because of a number of conclusions in the media last week regarding my relationship with Guy, I wanted to make something clear,” she shared on her Instagram story alongside a photo of the pair. </p> <p>“He and I are great friends and love each other very much, but we haven’t been a ‘couple’ for years.</p> <p>“I am, however, very proud to say we are in a wonderful partnership raising the true love of our lives - our beautiful son. And his hamster. The end.”</p> <p>Rumours of their split first began last month, when Pearce revealed during an interview that his first wife Kate Mestitz was the "greatest love of my life" but now that love is for his son.</p> <p>"My ex-wife, Kate, was the greatest love of my life, but I’ve moved on from her now and the greatest love of my life is my child, Monte," he told <em>The Guardian</em>. </p> <p>Pearce and van Houten first started dating in 2015, just months after the actor split from his ex-wife Mestitz. </p> <p>A year later, Pearce and van Houten went on to have a child together named Monte. </p> <p><em>Image: SplashNews.com/ Shutterstock Editorial</em></p> <p> </p>

Ash Barty shares pregnancy update

<p>Ash Barty is expecting her second child with husband Garry Kissick, and while the tennis legend is excited for the future, she has shared some of her concerns with raising two young children.</p> <p>The couple already share son Hayden, 18 months, and are set to have a newborn and a toddler to care for. </p> <p>"It's been probably the best part of my life, being able to share this next chapter with my husband Garry, and we have no idea what we're doing but he's alive and he's happy," she told the <em>Herald Sun</em>.</p> <p>"Terrified for what is going to come next but we'll figure it out, I'm sure," she added. </p> <p>The 28-year-old also said that while it's not in her nature to deal with "chaos" she hopes to make it work. </p> <p>"As an athlete I used to be the most meticulous, organised person and now it's absolute carnage," she said. </p> <blockquote class="instagram-media" style="background: #FFF; Cruise line asks for travellers help with billion-dollar ship design

<p>If you've ever been on a cruise ship and had your opinions on what elements of the ship could be improved, now is your chance to have your say. </p> <p>Celebrity Cruises is giving travellers the opportunity to help design the cruise line's newest billion-dollar ship, Celebrity Xcel.</p> <p>In a first for the cruising industry, dedicated cruisers will assist in making key decisions across culinary, entertainment and interior design for the new ship. </p> <p>"We want to ensure our guests love our products and experiences, so involving them in the process to perfect Celebrity Xcel was a great way to achieve this," Michael Scheiner, chief marketing and product officer of Celebrity Cruises, said.</p> <p>Open to anyone who wishes to have their say, the global community of travellers will test, try and vote on new experiences, through online polls and one-of-a-kind experiential in-person events.</p> <p>The Dream Makers community will have final say on design elements of the ship, such as textiles and interior design choices, as well as picking their favourite dining and beverage options to be served onboard. </p> <p>Plus, they get to provide input on headline shows, selecting playlists, and partake in selections to appoint pivotal entertainment positions onboard.</p> <p>"Celebrity Cruises is known for ground-breaking innovation in ship design and experiences unlike any other at sea," Michael said.</p> <p>"When Xcel launches guests won't have just found their happy place, they'll have helped us build it."</p> <p>Celebrity Xcel launches in November 2025 and will be the fifth ship in the cruise line's award-winning Edge Series.</p> <p>Those interested in joining Xcel Dream Makers to have their say on the new ship can learn more at <a title="" href="http://www.celebritycruises.com/xceldreammakers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">celebritycruises.com/xceldreammakers</a>.</p> <p><em>Image credits: Celebrity Cruises</em></p>

Queen guitarist Brian May recovering from health scare

<p>Sir Brian May's wife, Anita Dobson, has given an update on his health, following his minor stroke last September. </p> <p>The Queen guitarist, revealed that he had lost control over his arm after the minor stroke, with his wife saying that the health scare had reminded her that "life is precious". </p> <p>“Brian is stable now”, she told <em>The Sun </em>newspaper.</p> <p>“The start of the year has been up and down. We both had the flu but we took the kids to Lapland, 15 of them," the actress, who has been married to the musician for almost 25 years, added. </p> <p>She also said that he had "never been happier" since they had moved from London to the countryside. </p> <p>“To see what it has done to Brian... he loves it. He loves the birds and the animals”, she said.</p> <p>“He feeds all the birds and the badgers, foxes and pheasants. It’s like running a pub for animals.”</p> <p>In another social media post, Sir Brian had previously said the health scare had been “a little scary” but praised the “fantastic care” he received from Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey. </p> <p>At the time he was "grounded" after being advised not to drive, fly or do any activity which would send his heart rate too high.</p> <p>Sir Brian and his family have since been “spending time at home” and “taking each day as it comes”.</p> <p>“It makes you realise that at any minute it could be you. You don’t have to necessarily be old, it could be anyone”, Dobson said. </p> <p>“You think you are fit; you see these people who run marathons and then at a young age they are gone.</p> <p>“You have to live every day as if it was your last. Celine Dion's heartbreaking tribute to late husband on 30th anniversary

<p>Celine Dion has shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late husband René Angélil  on what would've been their 30th anniversary. </p> <p>The <em>My Heart Will Go On</em> singer took to Instagram to share a photo of the couple on their wedding day with the caption: “You still fill our hearts, every day. You are everything for us. We miss you so much.”</p> <p>“Happy 30th anniversary, mon amour!”</p> <p>She signed off the post with two x's next to her name and added the names of her children, René-Charles, Eddy and Nelson), sharing just how much their family misses him. </p> <p>Fans were quick to share their sympathy with one writing: "You showed the world how love is supposed to be. George Clooney's heartfelt message after sad loss

<p>George Clooney has shared a heartfelt message to his <em>Ocean's Eleven </em>co-star, Scott L. Schwartz, who sadly passed away aged 65. </p> <p>"I'm sorry to hear that Scott is gone," he told <em>Variety</em>. </p> <p>"We did three films together and I've never been so gently punched," Clooney continued. </p> <p>"He was a gentle soul and he will be dearly missed."</p> <p>Schwartz, who stood at six feet and 10 inches (approx. 208.3cm) tall, played Bruiser in the <em>Ocean's Eleven </em>trilogy, alongside Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and more Hollywood stars. </p> <p>Clooney's character in the film, Danny Ocean, hires Bruiser to pretend to beat him up during the group's casino heist. </p> <p>Schwartz's wife Misty confirmed he died on November 26 at his Covington, Los Angeles home, according to <em>People</em>. "I’ve lost my eyesight": Sir Elton John's sad health update

I can’t read anything, I can’t watch anything." </p> <p>“There’s hope and encouragement that it will be okay. But I’m kind of stuck in the moment, going into the studio and recording, I don’t know. <p>Bruce Willis has been pictured in a sweet family snap, two years after he was diagnosed with dementia. </p> <p>His daughter, Tallulah, shared a glimpse into their holiday celebrations over the weekend as they mark Thanksgiving this year with Willis, amid his diagnosis. </p> <p>The <em>Die Hard</em> star was pictured sitting next to his daughters, Tallulah and Scout, who gifted him a name plate that read:  “Best Dad Ever.” </p> <p>Tallulah wrote “grateful” alongside the photos she shared of the actor sitting comfortably in a grey cardigan as his daughters doted on him. </p> <p>Friends and followers shared their love in the comments, saying it was great to see how happy the star was. </p> <p>“Pure love. Robbie Williams reveals mother's devastating diagnosis

<p>Robbie Williams has revealed that his mum, Janet, has been diagnosed with dementia. </p> <p>The 50-year-old singer shared the news during an interview with <em>HELLO!, </em>as he was discussing his upcoming biopic <em>Better Man</em>, set to release on December 26. </p> <p>"My mum's currently got dementia – like my nan in the film – and my dad's got Parkinsons and can't get out of bed. So I'm in a different part of my life right now," he said. </p> <p>This comes four years after Williams first shared the news that his father, Pete Conway, had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. </p> <p>"We've got a lot of family issues right now. My dad has got Parkinson's, my mother-in-law who I love dearly has got a very big illness. We can't get to them. Naomi Watts' heartbreaking family update

<p>Naomi Watts has been struck with another personal tragedy. </p> <p>The actress' paternal grandmother passed away this week at the age of 101, just three months following the loss of her maternal grandmother in August. </p> <p>Watts took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news, with a photo of her grandmother holding an envelope from King Charles and the caption: "Our Granny Watts made it to 101 and a half."</p> <p>"She got her letter from the King to celebrate her century, last night she rested easy," Watts continued.</p> <p>Watts also shared a few more photos of her paternal grandmother, including one taken during her 101 birthday to her Instagram stories with the caption:  "Farewell granny watts 101.5 years old!!" </p> <p>The actress' maternal grandmother 'Nanna' Nikki Roberts, died less than three months ago, aged 99 following a "massive stroke". </p> <p>"My darling Nanna has left this world but her spirit will never leave us. <p>John Travolta's youngest son, Benjamin Travolta, has turned 14! </p> <p>The <em>Grease </em>actor took to Instagram on Saturday November 23 to share his heartwarming tribute celebrating the teen.</p> <p>"Happy birthday my Ben. Your dad loves you!  And so does Peanut!" he wrote. </p> <p>He shared a photo of the 14-year-old receiving a kiss from their beloved family pup Peanut, who the actor famously adopted after Jamie Lee Curtis brought her onstage during a segment at the 94th Academy Awards in 2022. </p> <p>"The day we adopted Peanut on Oscar night! Full House star's devastating cancer diagnosis

<p>Dave Coulier has revealed his devastating cancer diagnosis </p> <p>The <em>Full House</em> star told the <em>US Toda</em>y show about his "roller coaster" health struggle on Wednesday. </p> <p>After finding out that he was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, he said it felt like "I got punched in the stomach because it never happens to you," according to <em>Page Six</em>. </p> <p>Coulier, whose first symptom was a lump in his groin, noted that he was “on pins and needles for a few days” while waiting to hear whether the disease had spread “to any major organs or [his] blood or bones or anything.”</p> <p>While waiting for his results, the 65-year-old actor told his wife, Melissa Coulier that he accepted his fate. </p> <p> “I’m OK with whatever the news [is] going to be no matter how devastating. … I’ve had an incredible life. I’ve had the most amazing people in my life. This has been an extraordinary journey, and I’m OK if this is the end of the journey”.</p> <p>Fortunately the cancer has not moved outside of his lymphatic system, and since then the actor has started chemotherapy, which he said was  “intense” and “scared the daylights” out of him.</p> <p>“There [are] days where I feel unbelievable,” he said. “Then there’s other days where … I’m just going to lay down and let this be what it’s going to be”.</p> <p>Coulier is expected to finish treatment in February 2025 after undergoing six rounds of chemo every three weeks. </p> <p>While the diagnosis was initially shocking, the actor has assured his fans that the curability rate is promising. </p> <p><em>Image: Ralph Dominguez/MediaPunch/ Shutterstock Editorial</em></p> <p> </p>

Hollywood icon reveals plans for retirement

<p>Denzel Washington has revealed that he is going to retire after his next batch of films. </p> <p>The Hollywood icon appeared via videolink on Tuesday’s episode of the <em>Today Show</em>, alongside his co-stars to promote his new film <em>Gladiator II</em>.</p> <p>“I don’t know how many more films I’m going to make. Probably not that many,” the actor, who turns 70 next month, told <em>Today</em> host Richard Wilkins. </p> <p>“I want to do things I haven’t done. I’ve played Othello at 22, I’m about to play Othello at 70,” he said.</p> <p>Denzel will play the role in the Shakespeare play on Broadway alongside Jake Gyllenhaal from February next year.</p> <p>“After that I’m playing Hannibal. After that I’ve been talking with Steve McQueen about a film. After that Ryan Coogler’s writing a part for me in the next <em>Black Panther.</em>”</p> <p>He added, “After that I’m going to do the film Othello. After that I’m going to do King Lear. <p>Margot Robbie has reportedly given birth to her first child with her husband, British filmmaker Tom Ackerley.</p> <p>According to <em>People</em>, the 34-year-old Australian actress gave birth to a baby boy on October 17 in Los Angeles. </p> <p>Her family is reportedly in the process of planning to travel out to the US.</p> <p>The actress known for her iconic roles in films like<em> I, Tonya, Wolf of Wall Street </em>and <em>Barbie</em>, has kept a low profile throughout her pregnancy, with friends and family also remaining tight-lipped on news of the baby.</p> <p>Ackerley was spotted carrying a box of nappies on the streets of LA on October 30, sparking speculation they had welcomed their baby. </p> <p>Robbie and Ackerley, met on the set of<em> Suite Française</em> in 2013, where he was an assistant director and she starred as Celine Joseph. </p> <p>They then married in December 2016 during a private ceremony in Byron Bay. </p> <p>Robbie's pregnancy was made public in July, with the couple enjoying a romantic babymoon to Sardinia, Italy a month later. </p> <p>The actress made her last red carpet appearance on September 9, when she attended the screening of the comedy movie she produced with her husband. </p> <p>Robbie has previously revealed how much she enjoys working with her husband. </p> <p>“I’m a great advocate of doing business with your partner,” she told <em>Porter </em>in 2018.</p> <p>“Being married is actually the most fun ever, life got way more fun somehow. Matthew Perry's sister and step-dad break silence

<p>Matthew Perry's younger sister and step-dad have opened up about the actor's death for the first time since his passing one year ago. </p> <p>Keith Morrison married Perry's mum in 1981 and couple soon after welcomed their first daughter and Perry's half-sister, Caitlin Morrison. </p> <p>In an interview with<em> Hello!
