Mick Jagger welcomes new grandchild

<p>Mick Jagger has become a grandpa again as his 32-year-old daughter, Georgia May, welcomed her first baby with boyfriend Cambryan Sedlick. </p> <p>"Our Son Dean Lee Jagger Sedlick was born September 30th," she announced on Instagram with a series of polaroid photos of the pair and their bub. </p> <p>"We are so in Love and happy and can't stop staring at him."</p> <p>Georgia first announced she was pregnant in June, sharing photos of her baby bump to Instagram.</p> <p>She also thanked her boyfriend for "being so incredible through everything and taking such good care of us".</p> <p>The photo was flooded with congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities including from <em>Daisy Jones & The Six</em> actress Suki Waterhouse and Meadow Walker, daughter of the late <em>Fast and Furious</em> actor Paul Walker.</p> <blockquote class="instagram-media" style="background: #FFF; Mick Jagger reveals why his children won't get his inheritance

<p>Mick Jagger has revealed that he won't be sharing his wealth amongst his eight children when he dies. </p> <p>The Rolling Stones frontman has amassed an impressive fortune of $500 million over his 60-year career in the limelight. </p> <p>In an interview with the <em>Wall Street Journal</em>, the 80-year-old musician hinted that he doesn’t want to sell the band’s post-1971 music inventory.</p> <p>Jagger teased that the money should go to charity instead of his offspring.</p> <p>“The children don’t need $500m to live well. Come on,” he joked to the publication.</p> <p>He went on to say, “You maybe do some good in the world.”</p> <p>Jagger’s oldest child is daughter, Karis, 52, whom he welcomed with Marsha Hunt in 1970. Mick Jagger's daughter arrested

<p>The daughter of the Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has been arrested in Spain following a hostile altercation with police. </p> <p>Jade Jagger, 51, has being accused of going on a drunken tirade and allegedly assaulting several national police officers in Ibiza, Spain, according to reports by <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/05/18/mick-jaggers-daughter-jade-arrested-for-assaulting-police-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>Page Six</em></a>. </p> <p>The reports claim that Jagger became "very aggressive and violent" when police were called to help mediate an altercation she was involved in at a restaurant. </p> <p>Jade and one of her friends involved in the confrontation were reportedly under the influence of alcohol or "some type of substance". </p> <p>Before the police were called, the British jewellery designer had a disagreement with restaurant staff, while her male companion began allegedly “shouting, threatening and insulting” them. </p> <p>The police then arrived at the restaurant to defuse the situation, where Jade's friend "pounced" on the officers, while Jade was allegedly heard shouting “stupid police” and other rude remarks. </p> <p>It is unclear if Jade remains in police custody, but a local Spanish outlet states she is expected to be “brought to justice” at some point on Friday.</p> <p>Jade is one of Mick’s eight children. Sir Mick Jagger slams comparisons to Harry Styles

<p>Sir Mick Jagger has slammed the comparison between the veteran rocker and pop superstar Harry Styles. </p> <p>Harry, a former member of One Direction whose solo career has seem him rise to the top of international music charts, has often been likened to The Rolling Stones frontman for their similar look and stage presence. </p> <p>While the 78-year-old rockstar can see the likeness in their looks, Jagger believes this is where their similarities end. </p> <p>Jagger told Sunday Times Culture magazine, “I like Harry — we have an easy relationship."</p> <p>“I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him. Come on, I was much more androgynous. And he doesn’t have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine — he can’t help that.”</p> <p>Harry Styles has long noted his love of The Rolling Stones, once calling Mick Jagger "the coolest man on the planet", and even impersonated Mick Jagger on 2017 episode of <em>Saturday Night Live</em>. </p> <p>While being historically dismissive of the pop star, he has been accepting of his influence, even dating back to the One Direction days; as Jagger said of Styles in <a href="https://www.yorkpress.co.uk/leisure/showbiz/14127163.harry-styles-has-got-it-going-on-says-sir-mick-jagger/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">a 2015 interview</a>, “He’s got it going on. I know him, he comes to see me in lots of shows. And yeah, I can see the influence. But I don’t say anything to him, I just tell him he looks nice. I like him. "He never asked me how old I was": Actress claims she slept with Mick Jagger at 15

<p>Actress Rae Dawn, the daughter of American comedian Tommy Chong, has claimed she spent a “fabulous” two days with Mick Jagger when she was just 15 years old in 1977.</p> <p>Dawn, who played prominent roles in the 1985 films <em>The Colour Purple </em>and <em>Commando</em>, shared her underage fling with the Rolling Stones legend to the <em>Daily Mail.</em></p> <p>Dawn’s admission came<em> </em>after she claimed to have accidentally blurted out the news while taping a forthcoming podcast from <em>The Hollywood Reporter</em>.</p> <p>“He wasn’t that much older than me in my brain. He was 33 and young and gorgeous with a nice body,” she described to the outlet in a quick attempt to get ahead of the story.</p> <p>“It wasn’t a bad thing; it was fabulous. Totally rock ‘n’ roll. I remember thinking he was really cute. He had tousled hair. I thought, ‘Oh man, he is beautiful.’”</p> <p>The pair ended up spending two days together in New York, according to the <em>Daily Mail</em>.</p> <p>She insisted that any relations between the two was completely consensual and worried that the revelation would land Jagger in deep water.</p> <p>“He did nothing wrong,” said Dawn. “He didn’t make me do anything I didn’t want to do.”</p> <p>Dawn bumped into Jagger a number of times after the romance occurred. Years later he casted her for an appearance in the video for the Rolling Stones’ song, <em>Just Another Night</em>.</p> <p>However, it seems their relationship as friends turned sour when Dawn publicly complained about Jagger’s “licky” behaviour on set.</p> <p>“In real life, he was a great kisser, but in the film, he did lots of ‘licky’ things,’ she said. “I talked about that in an interview. He has a fragile ego. He hasn’t spoken to me since.”</p>

Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger “on the mend” after surgery

<p>Mick Jagger, frontman of the Rolling Stones, is reportedly “on the mend” after having heart surgery.</p> <p>This is the first time he’s spoken out about his surgery since the announcement of The Stones’ postponing their US and Canada tour. The postponement of the tour was to help Jagger recover.</p> <p>Fran Curtis issued a statement explaining that Jagger is doing “very well” after undergoing “treatment”.</p> <p>“Mick Jagger has successfully undergone treatment. He is doing very well and is expected to make a full recovery,” the statement read.</p> <p><a rel="noopener" href="https://www.billboard.com/articles/business/8505740/mick-jagger-undergoes-successful-heart-valve-procedure" target="_blank">Billboard</a> magazine has reported that the surgery involved the replacement of a heart valve. Despite citing unnamed sources, Billboard explained that doctors were able to access the valve through his femoral artery and were monitoring the star for signs of complications.</p> <p>The surgery that was done on Jagger is known as transcatheter aortic valve replacement or TAVR, which is an increasingly used alternative to surgical valve replacement that requires the chest to be opened. Health fears for Mick Jagger as he suffers from mystery illness

<p>The Rolling Stones have postponed the North American leg of their US tour after it was confirmed Mick Jagger has fallen ill with a mystery illness. </p> <p><span>An announcement was made on Saturday explaining the situation.</span></p> <p>According to the statement, Jagger needs to rest.</p> <p>Mick Jagger “has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment."</p> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en-gb"> <p dir="ltr"><a href="https://t.co/ZsUlAPQkRA">pic.twitter.com/ZsUlAPQkRA</a></p> — The Rolling Stones (@RollingStones) <a href="https://twitter.com/RollingStones/status/1111976609110724608?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">30 March 2019</a></blockquote> <p>“The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible,” read the Twitter post. </p> <p>The Rolling Stone’s No Filter tour was scheduled to start in Miami on April 20.</p> <p>Although it is unknown what the 75-year-old is suffering from, an insider close to the group has told <a rel="noopener" href="https://variety.com/2019/music/news/rolling-stones-postpone-north-american-tour-1203176663/" target="_blank">Variety</a> that he is “not bedridden”.</p> <p>They then went onto say, “This is not a serious thing.”</p> <p>Jagger has said in a statement that he’s “hugely disappointed” about the news.</p> <p>“I hate letting our fans down and I’m hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour but am looking forward to getting back on stage as soon as I can.”</p> <p>Tour promoters for the concerts have advised fans to hold onto their tickets as they’re still valid for the rescheduled dates.</p>

Why Keith Richards was forced to apologise to Mick Jagger

<p>They’ve been bandmates and friends for over half a century now, but Rolling Stones legends Keith Richards and Mick Jagger still have the odd tiff from time to time.</p> <p>However, their latest spat has played out for all to see, forcing Richards to issue a public apology to Jagger after making some insensitive comments he made during an interview with the <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-wisdom-of-keith-richards-1519826136" target="_blank"><strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Wall Street Journal Magazine</span></em></strong></a>.</p> <p>In it, the iconic guitarist described Jagger, who <a href="/news/news/2016/12/exciting-news-for-mick-jagger/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">recently welcomed his eighth child</span></strong></a> at the age of 73, as a “randy old bastard” and suggested he should get a vasectomy.</p> <p>“It’s time for the snip – you can't be a father at that age,” he said. “Those poor kids!”</p> <p>Then, just hours after the interview was published online, Richards took to Twitter to apologise to Jagger, saying he “deeply regrets” the comments he made.</p> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"> <p dir="ltr">I deeply regret the comments I made about Mick in the WSJ which were completely out of line. Inside Sweden’s Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia’s son’s christening

<p>Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden have baptised their three-month-old son, Prince Gabriel, in a lavish ceremony in the Royal Chapel at Stockholm’s Drottningholm Palace Church.</p> <p>The beautiful bub wore the same lace christening gown worn by the king’s father Prince Gustaf Adolf in 1906, his big brother Prince Alexander and even his own dad.</p> <p>Sofia also followed tradition, wearing a customary Swedish outfit which included an embroidered head cap, striped apron and buckled shoes.</p> <p>But despite it being Gabriel’s big day, all eyes were on Alexander, who started getting bored around the 35-minute mark – as kids are wont to do! First look at newest member of the Swedish royal family

<p>While most of the world’s eyes have been on the upcoming arrival of the British royals’ newest member, the Swedish royal family have been celebrating the birth of their own royal baby.</p> <p>And we’ve finally been given our first look at Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia’s adorable new bub Prince Gabriel, who was born on August 31. He joins the genetically blessed couple’s first son, one-year-old Prince Alexander.</p> <p>Just-released photos from the Royal Palace in Stockholm taken by photographer Erika Geredemark, <strong>which you can see in the gallery above</strong>, show the beautiful (and colour-coordinated!) family of four beaming as they celebrate their newest arrival.</p> <p>In a statement released alongside the sweet pictures, the couple said, “A big and warm thanks for all the kind congratulations in connection with the birth of our son, Prince Gabriel. We appreciate your kindness very much.”</p> <p>After the birth announcement, a “really happy” Prince Carl Philip described the newborn as “a very cute boy”.</p> <p>“It feels great, pure joy!” he gushed. “He seems to be a very charming little boy and Sofia is a wonderful mum.
