Arnold Schwarzenegger allegedly hit cyclist with his car

Arnold Schwarzenegger has allegedly been involved in a car accident that resulted in a woman being sent to hospital. The former California governor, 75, reportedly struck a woman on Sunday who was riding a bike with his car after she swerved into his lane, according to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/02/05/arnold-schwarzenegger-involved-bicyclist-traffic-accident-not-at-fault/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ</a>. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles police department could not immediately confirm the accident to the <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/02/05/arnold-schwarzenegger-involved-in-car-accident-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Post</a>, although police sources told TMZ that Schwarzenegger was not to blame for the accident. The source said Schwarzenegger, who is an avid cyclist himself, was not able to avoid the unidentified victim in the crash after the woman made a left turn in front of Schwarzenegger's vehicle before he could hit his brakes to come to a stop. The actor was reportedly co-operating with officers at the scene in West Los Angeles, while the cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Schwarzenegger also allegedly took the woman's bike to a local shop to repair the damage it sustained from the collision. An investigation into the incident is still ongoing, while reps for Schwarzenegger have yet to comment on the crash. The Austrian-born actor has had a run of bad luck with motor vehicle accidents lately. In January 2022, Schwarzenegger was involved in a multi-car crash in Brentwood, California. Schwarzenegger walked away from that crash seemingly uninjured, but another person involved sustained a head injury. "Just not fair": Australia's most-decorated Olympian's trans stance

Olympic star Emma McKeon has taken a stance against transgender athletes competing in women’s sport. The five-time gold medallist said “it’s just not fair” to be competing against transgender athletes during a seminar at Griffith University. Her comments came as Prime Minister Scott Morrison backs Liberal candidate for Warringah Katherine Deves, who caused an uproar by declaring trans teenagers are “surgically mutilated” and that the rainbow Pride flag “triggers” her. "I personally wouldn't want to be racing against someone who is biologically a male, so that's a concern," McKeon said. "It's not a new thing, but it's new in that sport, swimming, are going to have to deal with it." Denazify Ukraine? This is not true! “Ukraine is a country with a Jewish president, a Jewish president I might add, whose father’s three brothers were all murdered by the Nazis. “You see, Ukraine did not start this war. Neither did the nationalists or Nazis. Those in power in the Kremlin started the war. This is not the Russian people’s war. “As a matter of fact … what you should know is that 141 nations at the UN voted that Russia was the aggressor. “They called for it to remove its troops immediately. You’re also not being told the truth about the consequences of this war on Russia itself. “I regret to tell you that thousands of Russian soldiers have been killed. “They have been caught between Ukrainians fighting for their homeland and the Russian leadership fighting for conquest.” He said that both the citizens and soldiers had been lied to by the government, and that the wildly different things they have been told - from going to fight Nazis to particpating in training exercises - were all false. He then questioned the Russian government’s willingness to sacrifice soldiers for “your own ambitions”, and urged Russians listening to help him spread the truth. “Let your fellow Russians know the human catastrophe that is happening in Ukraine,” he said. Schwarzenegger’s message came as Ukrainian cities continued to be bombed, with the capital Kyiv being the target of missiles early on Thursday morning. The southern city of Mariupol was also the target of heavy attack, with city officials estimating at least 2400 people had died as a result. Hollywood legend and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarznegger has posted a message for those hesitant to get the COVID-19 jab. The 73-year-old took to Facebook to encourage people to get the vaccine for the good of themselves and everyone else, which has gone viral. Schwarznegger has famously pushed for people in the US to accept any vaccine available to them in order to get the pandemic under control. In his post, he highlighted the importance of listening to experts and not unreliable online sources. He said, “I always say you should know your strengths and listen to the experts. If you want to learn about building biceps, listen to me.” “Dr. Fauci and all of the virologists and epidemiologists and doctors have studied diseases and vaccines for their entire lives, so I listen to them and I urge you to do the same. None of us are going to learn more than them by watching a few hours of videos.” He went on to express the importance of not relying on misinformation about the COVID jab, and for people to admit they don’t know as much as the experts. “Some people say it is weak to listen to experts. That’s bogus. It takes strength to admit you don’t know everything. Weakness is thinking you don’t need expert advice and only listening to sources that confirm what you want to believe.” The post has seen new light with high-profile figures such as columnist Piers Morgan, American journalist Brooke Cain and championship basketballer Rex Chapman all resposting the important message. The post comes after Schwarenegger’s video of him getting vaccinated also went viral in January. Katherine McPhee reveals name of newborn son with David Foster

Katharine McPhee has revealed her son's special name. The 36-year-old welcomed her first child with husband David Foster, 71, in February and opened up about the name they chose for their baby in an interview with Today With Hoda and Jenna. "OK, well, his name, we haven't said anything. My husband hopefully won't kill me for saying it, but his name is Rennie David Foster," she told co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager in the interview, which will air on March 19. "We picked Rennie 'cause I'd actually been in labour for a while. We didn't have a name picked out." "We had a couple names," she added. "But my husband was on a text chain with his sisters and one of his sisters suggested an old family name. It was his great-grandfather's name, his great-uncle's name, so it has a long history in his family. My husband said, 'Hi, Ren Foster,' and so we said, 'That's a good name. It's a strong name.'" McPhee took to Instagram to share a photo of newborn Rennie. "Just in case you were wondering, I love being a mommy," she wrote alongside the snap. Their newborn son is McPhee's first child and Foster's sixth. He shares five adult daughters including Sara, 40, Erin, 38, and Jordan, 34, from his marriage to Rebecca Dyer, and Allison, 50, and Amy, 47, from previous relationships. "We couldn't be happier. Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed," the action star added, followed by Bible verses. Katherine Schwarzenegger and Hollywood actor Chris Pratt have tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Montecito, California. The 29-year-old daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver married the 39-year-old actor at San Ysidro Ranch on Saturday. In an Instagram post, Katherine wrote that the wedding day “was the best day of our lives”. She shared: “It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives.” For the nuptials, Giorgio Armani designed a lace-covered strapless white gown with a sweetheart neckline for the bride and a navy suit for the groom. Katherine also complemented her look with her grandmother’s earrings, Armani Privé ivory satin heels and a tulle veil that her mother Maria once wore. On Tuesday, the designer unveiled Katherine's second dress for the evening reception in pictures shared on social media sites. Katherine Heigl opens up about difficult birth of son

Hollywood actress Katherine Heigl welcomed her son Joshua on December 20, 2016. And on Wednesday, the Grey's Anatomy star took to Instagram to wish him a happy first birthday and shared several never-seen-before photos during her pregnancy and birth, as well as an adorable new image of her son today. Hidden Figures cast bring out NASA’s 98-year-old Katherine Johnson at the Oscars

The Hidden Figures stars presented the award for Best Documentary at the Oscars. Taraji P Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae surprised the audience by bringing NASA’s Katherine Johnson onto the stage with them. Katherine Johnson was one of the NASA mathematicians who assisted in the Apollo 11 mission with John Glenn. Before announcing the award, Taraji welcomed the “true NASA and American hero” to the stage. Taraji portrayed the character of Katherine in Hidden Figures. Katherine Johnson is now 98-years-old and the audience received the hero with a standing ovation. Viewers watching the Oscars responded to Katherine’s appearance at the Oscars with online encouragement of the mathematician’s accomplishments. Oona Chaplin Granddaughter of the iconic Charlie Chaplin and daughter of Doctor Zhivago actress Geraldine Chaplin, 29-year-old Oona is continuing the family business with an acting career of her own. Best known for her role in Game of Thrones, she has also appeared in the BBC series Sherlock. Patrick Schwarzenegger Son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, Patrick was always destined for big things in the entertainment industry.
