Internet spooked after young boy "proves" he is the reincarnation of a dead woman

<p>A five-year-old boy has insisted to his mum that he has lived a past life as a woman named Pam, which has left viewers spooked with his "scary" story. </p> <p>Five-year-old Luke Ruehlman has claimed that he used to be a woman since he was just two years old. </p> <p>While his mother, Erika, brushed off his stories as an over-active imagination, his comments became increasingly peculiar as he grew older. </p> <p>“He’d say, ‘When I was a girl, I had black hair’ or he’d say, ‘I used to have earrings like that when I was a girl’,” Erika told US television network <a href="https://fox2now.com/news/do-you-believe-in-past-lives-toddlers-testimony-has-family-questioning-if-he-was-a-chicago-woman/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-link-type="article-inline">Fox 2</a>.</p> <p>She also said Luke spoke about a woman called Pam from a young age, although the family didn’t know anyone by that name.</p> <p>It was one fleeting comment that left Erika gobsmacked. </p> <p>“I was like, ‘Who is Pam?’,” Erika said.</p> <p>“That’s when he turned to me and said, ‘Well I was’.</p> <p>“I said, ‘What do you mean you were?’</p> <p>“He was like, ‘Well I used to be, but I died and I went up to heaven and I saw God and eventually God pushed me back down.</p> <p>“When I woke up I was a baby and you named me Luke’.”</p> <p>Adding to the spine-tingling comments, Luke insisted to his mum that he had died in a fire in Chicago - a city he had never been to.</p> <p>Erika did some research and discovered that an African-American woman by the name of Pamela Robinson had indeed died after jumping from a window to escape a massive fire in the Illinois city in 1993.</p> <p>Luke's parents decided to put him to the test, showing him a series of photos of different women. </p> <p>They were shocked and a little bit spooked when he picked out the correct photo of Pam. </p> <p>“He goes, ‘Well I don’t recognise anybody. But, I remember when this one was taken’,” his mum said of the moment he pointed at the right image.</p> <p>Luke’s claim has left the internet spooked, with some calling the story “crazy s***”.</p> <p>“That’s scary,” one viewer wrote on TikTok.</p> <p><em>Image credits: YouTube</em></p>

Princess Charlotte’s show-stopping faces

<p dir="ltr">Princess Charlotte stole the show at the Commonwealth Games with her adorable animated facial expressions.</p> <p dir="ltr">The seven-year-old attended the games with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to watch the swimming at Sandwell Aquatics Centre in Birmingham on Tuesday. </p> <p dir="ltr">During the races, the Duchess was explaining things about the race, while Prince William watched on. </p> <p dir="ltr">As England’s Luke Turley prepared for the 1500m freestyle the Princess and her parents watched on in glee.</p> <p dir="ltr">Turley smashed a gruelling 30 lengths of the pool in 15:35.65 which qualified him for the final on Wednesday.</p> <p dir="ltr">Princess Charlotte smiled when the race came to the end before rolling her eyes about something her dad said. </p> <p dir="ltr">Several images captured the Princess’ cute facial expressions as she watched the races.</p> <p dir="ltr">Check them out below. </p> <p dir="ltr"><em>Images: Getty</em></p>

Hemsworth brothers list stunning Malibu retreat for $4.9 million

<p><span>Australian brothers Chris, Liam and Luke Hemsworth are looking to let go of their Malibu home that they shared for $4.9 million.</span><br /><br /><span>Together the trio have lifted the price $1.45 million more than they paid for the place using a trust four years ago, real estate records show.</span><br /><br /><span>While there were not many changes made to the 4,612-square-foot floor plan, with its polished concrete floors, warm woody accents and shiny marble finishes - they did touch up the landscape and exterior of the house.</span><br /><br /><span>The home hosts four marvellous bedrooms, four bathrooms, a sunny chef’s kitchen and a wine cellar.</span><br /><br /><span>It also features a spacious media room that is decked out with purple walls and carpet floors.</span><br /><br /><span>The back patio includes a sauna and beyond that is serene tiered gardens that overlook a grassy lawn and unbelievable mountain dunes.</span><br /><br /><span>Altogether, the Malibu retreat is 1.3 acres and is above Point Dume.</span><br /><br /><span>Chris Hemsworth, 37, is best known for his role as Thor in the Marvel cinematic universe.</span><br /><br /><span>Liam Hemsworth, 30, gained fame for his role as Gale Hawthorne in “The Hunger Games” trilogy.</span><br /><br /><span>Luke Hemsworth, 39, plays the part of Ashley Stubbs on HBO’s critically acclaimed sci-fi western show “Westworld.”</span></p>

<p>Luke Perry’s family made a tough call on the day of the actor’s death, an insider has revealed.</p> <p>The<span> </span><em>Riverdale</em><span> </span>and <em>Beverly Hills, 90210</em> star was rushed into a Californian hospital after suffering a massive <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.oversixty.com.au/health/caring/detecting-strokes-here-s-what-you-need-to-know/" target="_blank">stroke</a> on Wednesday, February 27.</p> <p>He was then put under heavy sedation to allow his brain and body to recover after the attack – however, his condition did not improve even after several days, the insider told <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/luke-perrys-family-made-decision-to-take-him-off-life-support/" target="_blank"><em>Us Weekly</em></a>.</p> <p>“Luke’s loved ones were hoping they’d pull him out of it after 48 hours or so,” they said. “But he never recovered. It was devastating.”</p> <p>On Monday, five days after Perry’s admission to hospital, his family – including fiancée Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Rachel “Minnie” Sharp and children Sophie and Jack – made the difficult decision to take him off life support.</p> <p>The actor tragically died at the age of 52.</p> <p>Jack, the 21-year-old son of Perry and Sharp, has shared a tribute to his late father on Instagram.</p> <p>“I’ll miss you every day that I walk this earth,” he wrote. “I’ll do whatever I can to carry on your legacy and make you proud. Jason Priestley speaks out for first time about Luke Perry’s death: "I am in so much pain"

<p>Jason Priestley has opened up about the loss of his <em>Beverly Hills, 90210</em> co-star and friend Luke Perry.</p> <p>Perry, who died on Monday at the age of 52 after suffering a massive stroke, played opposite Priestley on the iconic 1990s TV drama.</p> <p>On Thursday, Priestley shared his tribute to the late actor on Instagram with a message and a throwback picture of the two stars together.</p> <p>“It’s taken me a couple of days to figure out how to write this... My dear friend of 29 years, Luke Perry, was one of those truly special people who really cared,” the 49-year-old wrote.</p> <p>“Luke was not only a star, he was an incredibly bright light that was extinguished far too soon... and that is why I, and so many others, are in so much pain today... <p>After news broke of actor Luke Perry’s death following a “massive stroke” it’s important to understand the signs and symptoms.</p> <p>The 52-year-old <em>Riverdale</em> and <em>Beverly Hills, 90210</em> star passed away on March 4, after suffering a massive stroke late last week.</p> <p>The much loved actor died while surrounded by family and friends. This can be due to the blood flow being blocked by a clot (ischemic stroke) or when the vessels in the brain burst (haemorrhagic stroke).</span></p> <p>Other incidents are classified as “brain attacks”, which happen when people suffer from a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or otherwise known as “mini strokes”.</p> <p>These occur when there is a blockage of blood flow to the brain. But despite these short incidents only occurring for five minutes, they should be taken seriously as they are indicators for future strokes.</p> <p>When the brain fails to receive an adequate amount of blood flow or oxygen, it can result in permanent disability or death.</p> <p><strong>What are the major symptoms of stroke?</strong></p> <p><a rel="noopener" href="https://strokefoundation.org.au/About-Stroke/Stroke-symptoms" target="_blank">The Stroke Foundation</a> urges everyone to brush up on F.A.S.T.</p> <p>The F.A.S.T test is a simple acronym that helps people understand the symptoms of stroke, and could be the difference between life or death.</p> <p><strong>F:</strong> <strong>Facial drooping or numbness.</strong><span> </span>Ask the person to smile and check for any asymmetries.</p> <p><strong>A:</strong> <strong>Arm weakness.</strong><span> </span>If the person is suffering from a stroke, they may find it difficult to move their arms. Ask them to raise both their arms to see any irregularities.</p> <p><strong>S:</strong> <strong>Slurred Speech.</strong><span> </span>A common symptom of a stroke is slurring of the speech. People may either be talking extremely slow or it may be difficult to understand what they’re saying. Ask the person to repeat phrases several times, but even if their speech returns to normal, be sure to call a doctor regardless.</p> <p><strong>T:</strong><strong> Time to call 000.<span> </span></strong>If the person has any of the above symptoms, then call emergency services immediately.</p> <p><strong>Other symptoms to look out for</strong></p> <p>While F.A.S.T is important to be on top of, there are other symptoms also linked to strokes, such as walking difficulties or understanding conversations.</p> <p>Those who suffer from severe headaches, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination, all come under signs of a stroke and should be looked at by a doctor immediately.</p> <p><strong>Who is at risk?</strong></p> <p>Strokes do not discriminate and can happen to anyone at any age, but there are certain factors that make some people more susceptible to the condition than others. People who excessively smoke or consume alcohol, live sedentary lifestyles, have high cholesterol, blood pressure or diabetes have a much higher risk of suffering from a stroke. </p>

<p>Luke Perry’s daughter has broken her silence on the actor’s shock death.</p> <p>Sophie Perry, 18, was travelling in Malawi on a charity trip when her father fell ill last week. She returned to Los Angeles before Luke’s devastating death on Monday.</p> <p>The <em>Beverly Hills, 90210</em> star suffered a massive stroke on Wednesday, February 27 and died five days later at the age of 52.</p> <p>Sophie, the daughter of Luke and ex-wife Rachel "Minnie" Sharp, shared a picture of her and her father on Instagram. Alongside the photograph, Sophie wrote: "A lot has happened in this past week for me. Everything is happening so fast. I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family."</p> <p>She thanked those who reached out to her with condolences. </p> <p>"I cannot individually respond to the hundreds of beautiful and heartfelt messages, but I see them, and appreciate you all for sending positivity to my family and I.</p> <p>"I'm not really sure what to say or do in this situation, it’s something you aren’t ever given a lesson on how to handle, especially when it's all happening in the public eye. Original Luke Skywalker lightsaber sells at auction for whopping amount

<p>An original lightsaber used by Mark Hamill has sold at auction for US$450,000 (AU$590,000) reports <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/luke-skywalkers-lightsaber-sold-450000-ripley-1018402" target="_blank">The Hollywood Reporter</a></strong></span>.</p> <p>The Luke Skywalker prop used in <em>Star Wars</em> and <em>The Empire Strikes Back</em> was sold to the Ripley company.</p> <p>Known for Ripley's Believe It or Not!, the lightsaber was likely to feature at one of the 32 'Odditoriums' around the world.</p> <p>The prop originally belonged to Gary Kurtz who worked as a producer on the first two Star Wars films.</p> <p>The auction house, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><a href="http://www.profilesinhistory.com/flipbooks/Hollywood89/index.html#p=444" target="_blank">Profiles in History</a></strong></span>, had also sold an original R2-D2 droid last week for US$2.76m  (AU$3.6m)</p> <p><em>First appeared on <a href="http://www.stuff.co.nz/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Stuff.co.nz</span></strong></a>. </em></p>
