Home and Away star shares astonishing 10kg transformation

<p><em>Home and Away</em>’s Matt Evans has stunned fans and followers after sharing the results of his eight-week body transformation on social media.</p> <p>The 26-year-old actor - best known for his work as Theo Poulos on the hit soap - posted two side-by-side snaps, apparently taken just two months apart, of his body at two different stages in his fitness journey.</p> <p>The location was the same in both, with Evans standing in Bonds underwear in front of a door in both, with only the lighting - harsher in the ‘after’ pic - and Evans’ muscle mass and body weight changing.</p> <p>“8 WEEK CHALLENGE RESULTS,” he captioned the image, before thanking his trainer, Harris Barclay.</p> <p>“I did a massive bulk last year which then lasted through christmas and it was the first time I had ever weighed 90kgs in my life. I am now back at 80kgs where I like to sit.”</p> <p>Evans went on to explain that his trainer had helped him come up with both a diet and training plan, and then revealed the key element that they had dropped from his regime, with Evans telling followers that it “DID NOT involve cardio.</p> <p>“I just went for an occasional walk if I wanted to be more active. Harris made the diet easy to follow and all you have to do is eat the food and show up to the gym. The training program was catered to my needs with weight training. Theo Hayez mystery comes to devastating end

<p>The worst fears of Theo Hayez's family have been confirmed as an inquest has declared the 18-year-old Belgian backpacker officially dead. </p> <p>Theo disappeared on a night out in Byron Bay in 2019, although the inquest did not determine whether his death was the result of an innocent accident or foul play. </p> <p>The disappearance of the teenager, who was described on Friday by State Coroner Teresa O’Sullivan as “a clever, gentle and thoughtful young man” with a “bright future”, prompted a mass volunteer effort from Byron Bay locals as the desperate search for him made headlines around the world. </p> <p>Despite the mammoth efforts of police and volunteers, nothing was found but Theo's cap. </p> <p>Hayez’ Australia-based godfather Jean-Philippe Pector was moved to tears as he spoke outside court about the “love” the family had received from the Byron Bay community, which “makes it all bearable”.</p> <p>After going through the inquest process, he said, “we knew there wouldn’t be any breakthrough.”</p> <p>O'Sullivan's inquest did note, however, that Hayez's phone indicated he had spent seven minutes at a local area known as the cricket nets, and that he had "veered sharply" off a path near a bush camp. </p> <p>As a result, she could exclude the theories that Hayez had taken his own life or staged his disappearance, but could not either substantiate or exclude the other two “main competing theories” - that he either died alone trying to climb the Cape Byron headland, or was killed by another person, or persons, who disposed of his body.</p> <p>Appearing on <em>60 Minutes </em>last weekend, Theo's devastated mother, Vinciane, opened up on the toll his disappearance has had on her and their family, saying, "I think that we will never know but I hope our situation, our story, is helpful to others."</p> <p>"If you want to go on living, there is a time when you need to stop. Police officer called a hypocrite for defect on car

<p dir="ltr">A police officer who pulled over a man riding a defective motorbike has been called a hypocrite for having a smooth tyre. </p> <p dir="ltr">Theo Glibo was stopped by the police officer at a service station in Largs Bay, Adelaide for having an illegal blue light on his motorbike. </p> <p dir="ltr">The 24-year-old then spotted the officer’s front tyre which was “bald” and questioned why he was being ticketed while the car should also be unroadworthy. </p> <p dir="ltr">“I’m copping a defect and this cop has a bald tyre and he’s not even gonna defect his own car,” Theo said in his video. </p> <p dir="ltr">“I’m not going to put a sticker on it for something that’s going to be dealt with tomorrow,” the officer responded.</p> <p dir="ltr">“Why not? That’s what you’re doing with mine, you’re a hypocrite,” Theo continued. </p> <p dir="ltr">”If this was anybody else’s tyre, you’d defect it. Where’s the wear bar on that?” </p> <p dir="ltr">The officer agreed that Theo was right and that he would deal with his tyre when his shift ended.</p> <p dir="ltr">“You’re absolutely right, so I will defect that when I get back to my office,” the officer said.</p> <p dir="ltr">Theo’s video went viral to the point that South Australia Police had to release a statement to address the incident.</p> <p dir="ltr">“South Australia Police are aware of the social media post relating to an interaction between a SAPOL employee and a member of the public where the police vehicle was identified to have a bald tyre,” the statement read. </p> <p dir="ltr">“SAPOL have taken steps to address this matter.”</p> <p dir="ltr"><em>Images: TikTok</em></p>

Potential breakthrough in Theo Hayez case

<p>Investigators are a step closer to solving the mystery of missing backpacker Theo Hayez, after honing in on WhatsApp messages he exchanged the night he vanished, to gain an insight into what happened.</p> <p>The Belgian teenager disappeared in 2019 from NSW hotspot Byron Bay, with an inquest on Wednesday hearing there had been a 'potential breakthrough' in the case.</p> <p>The development came just hours after Theo's parents suggested 'another person' was involved in their son's disappearance and police offered a $500,000 reward for information.</p> <p>'I don't want to overstate it, your honour, but we know Theo was engaged in some WhatsApp activity just before 1 am on the 31st of May,' counsel assisting the coroner, Kirsten Edwards said.</p> <p>This activity was prior to a five-hour window when Hayez' mobile phone ceased communicating with the nearest tower.</p> <p>In a bombshell revelation, Ms Edwards said the investigating team had also found a mystery person 'who was communicating with Theo on the 31st of May' but it is not yet known when the two exchanged messages.</p> <p>But WhatsApp messages, very commonly used as the primary messaging app in Europe, are encrypted, making it virtually impossible to find out what the texts said without one of the senders' phones.</p> <p>Earlier on Wednesday, it was revealed the police officer who led the initial search for Mr Hayez was inexperienced, missed vital training and would have conducted the operation 'very differently' with the benefit of hindsight.</p> <p>Speaking at the inquest the same day police announced a $500,000 reward for information on his case. Senior Constable Louis Papworth admitted he had only previously conducted two minor searches before the 18-year-old went missing.<br />Due to the urgency of the search and his inexperience, Papworth told the inquest he had made 'some mistakes.'</p> <p>If he'd had access to location data sourced from Theo's phone on the first two days of the search, it would have looked very different, Papworth said. With the benefit of hindsight, he would also have tried to find out more about Theo's interests and behaviours, to help tailor the search.</p> <p>The data showed Theo had spent seven minutes near cricket nets at a local sporting field, before charting a route through the Arakwal National Park to Cosy Corner Beach.</p> <p>'If you'd had that access to that information, you would have approached the search in a very different way, and with a lot more intensity?' Ms Edwards asked at the inquest.</p> <p>More volunteers would have been sent to those areas and he would have sent detectives to interview 'vagrants' who were staying near the sporting field.</p> <p>The inquest continues, and is due to hear more new 'significant' evidence in the coming days.</p> <p><em>Images: Facebook</em></p>

Big development in missing Theo Hayez case

Theo Hayez’s last moments before disappearing uncovered

<p dir="ltr">Theo Hayez’s Google account has provided a “digital data trail” tracking what are suspected to be his last moments before his disappearance, an inquest has been told.</p> <p dir="ltr">Unfortunately, data that may assist investigators in their search cannot be accessed due to a legal technicality with Belgian authorities, a situation described by counsel assisting the coroner as “unacceptable”. Hayez’s family has flown into Australia to attend the inquest, which is expected to run for two weeks.</p> <p dir="ltr">Hayez was reported missing from Byron Bay in May 2019 after leaving a popular bar late at night. He was last seen leaving the Cheeky Monkeys bar just after 11 pm on May 31, 2019, and the last reliable data point placed Hayez and his phone at Cozy Corner near the Cape Byron cliffs.</p> <p dir="ltr">The court heard that a working theory from police was that Hayez fell while trying to climb the cliffs and was swept out to sea. “If the working theory is correct … his phone did not go with him because it was still working and transmitting data until about the afternoon of Saturday June 1, 2019,” Ms Edwards, counsel assisting the coroner, said.</p> <p dir="ltr">Despite extensive searches by SES teams and the police, his body was never found. His fat was recovered in bushland on the route he last took weeks after he disappeared.</p> <p dir="ltr">Ms Edwards said that location tracking data suggested he walked in the opposite direction of his hostel, but took ‘strange’ routes despite having a map open on his phone.</p> <p dir="ltr">She also said that investigators were attempting to get a statement and witness from the overseas investigators, but were hindered due to a multinational legal process not occurring. She told the court, “We tried to access that process... but it is not a process available for a missing persons coronial investigation.</p> <p dir="ltr">“We are stymied, legally, because we cannot access that treaty.
