Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda steal the show on the catwalk
<p>Audiences at L’Oreal’s Paris Fashion Week show got the surprise of their lives when none other than Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda broke the stream of 20-something supermodels to strut their stuff on the catwalk.</p>
<p>Mirren, 72, was the picture of confidence as she walked the runway in an androgynous outfit with a bright red lip. She wore baggy, pleated, houndstooth pants, a chic longline coat, crisp white shirt and even a black and silver cane.</p>
<p>Fonda, on the other hand, opted for a bold, animal print gown, swapping the <a href="/lifestyle/beauty-style/2017/09/jane-fonda-debuts-youthful-new-look-on-red-carpet/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">youthful ponytail</span></strong></a> she wore at the Emmys for a classic bob. The 79-year-old even stopped for a quick kiss on the cheek with UK supermodel Naomi Campbell, who for once was in the front row rather than the catwalk itself.</p>
