A rare look at the royal jewellery collection
<p>It’s no secret the British royal family has quite a big jewellery box. Their family heirlooms have been accumulated over 100s of years, some dating back to the 16th century.</p>
<p>Many a breathtaking piece have been centre stage during significant moments in the royals’ history, from engagements to weddings and of course, coronations.</p>
<p>The Queen has also showed great generosity in lending out the family jewels to her daughters in law, with Diana and Catherine commonly seen to be accessorised by her majesties glittering vault.</p>
