What’s the best seat on a plane: aisle, middle or window?

The best seat to be in on a plane is an issue as divisive as whether pineapple belongs on a pizza or not. To some people, the aisle will always be the best option. Others couldn’t bear the thought of not being able to take in the view from the window seat. And there are a few (we suppose) who like feeling snug as a bug in the middle seat.

So, what is the best seat to choose, when you’re booking a flight?
